After reading enough reviews to decipher the difference between the Sapphire Beach condos and the Sapphire Village condo's, we chose to book at the Village and were so happy with our decision. We booked through a property management company and found them to be extremely helpful and conscientious about providing good directions and ensuring all of our questions/concerns were addressed... There is a lot of misinformation and confusion here. There are 2 separate, unaffiliated properties on or at Sapphire Beach: the red roof buildings are Sapphire Resort and the blue roof buildings are Sapphire Village. Sapphire Village is a Condominimum Owners Association (COA) where all the units (1 bedroom or efficiency) are individually owned. This is NOT a resort or... More

As someone else pointed out Sapphire Village and Sapphire Beach are two separate businesses. Sapphire Beach is right on the ocean; Sapphire Village is up the hill. We were at Sapphire Village; you can walk to the beach but it's interesting to lug beach chairs, coolers, snorkel equipment, etc back up the hill. The least amount of stairs to a... More

My sister and I stayed here for 2 days on a quick trip to St. Thomas. As 2 women travelling together we felt super safe, for a start. The staff was awesome - welcomed us upon arrival, brought us to our rooms, then even gave us a lift to nearby Redhook when we wanted to go get some dinner! The... More

WOw. I will probably write again, but just wow. First let me say, I don't know WHERE the bad reviews come from but this place is PERFECT!!! Infinity pools, beaches, jettys, boats 40 feet away from my balcony to take us on day sails, snorkeling..... a beach bar, restaurant, an awesome barbece Food Truck, and 2 minutes from the happening... I booked this trip very last minute (three days out from leaving) and made my decision on where to stay in St. Thomas based on a mix of two criteria: Cost & Tripadvisor user comments. They were very helpful, but I think I can help clear up some of the confusion/reservation I felt when I decided to "take a chance"... More

If you want to use the pool you will need to run it past a resident's swim lesson schedule first. Even though she isn't supposed to be using the pool for lessons, she does. Three times this past week we couldn't use the pool and all day today. Then when she isn't using the pool, the family with the screaming... More

Love, Love, Sapphire Beach with its sweeping views, clear crystal water and large white sand beaches. My husband and I stayed at one of the condos there in January. The unit we stayed in was quite clean and modern and comfortable. I booked this on VRBO and dealt directly with the owner so there was no confusion about checking in,... More

Perhaps it's because our last Caribbean vacation was at a 4-star all-inclusive in Jamaica that the Sapphire Village Resort felt like it had seen better days. The most important advice I can give you is to be clear about your check-in: where are you supposed to get your keys. The neighbouring units at the Sapphire Beach Resort (have a different... More

Our condo was extremely outdated. From the decor, I would suspect the owners are in their 80's and haven't updated anything in the last 40 years. There was lots of brown/yellow floral tile which would look very appropriate in the Brady Bunch house. I suspect the bed was probably 30 years old, which really gave me the creeps. I start... More
