Not a bad place just at the East End of Island. Taxi from airport was not too bad. Rode with others headed toward East End. Used the Safari taxi for $1.00 almost everyday. Cab headed back to Resort from Red Hook was 10.00. Walked back once. Used A little path then hope for the best walking in the road. eat... More

We stayed at this condo: http://www.vrbo.com/326566 My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights on short notice and it was an easy condo to book and pay for. We had absolutely no issues and Leah was great to work with while making reservations and our stay. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes and the views are... More

We loved staying at Sapphire Village for our recent one week trip. We stayed in the Barbados building near the top of the hill. It is about a 5 minute walk to Sapphire Beach but it was well worth it. We stayed in a privately owned unit named "Sea~N~Islands." It was a beautiful, modern one bedroom condo- we reccomend staying... More

What a great place to stay. All the amenities you need, and Red Hook less than a mile away. Great pools, nice restaurant on the premises, great service. Don't miss the opportunity to spend time in Red Hook, great shops and eating establishments. Take the ferry to St John for more fun and more shops.

This was the cheapest yet best condo I could find on St. Thomas. If you haven't noticed during your looking, this island is not cheap as far as lodging is concerned. I would never do a hotel here unless I win the lottery. While you will get a nicer room, better service and probably a pretty sweet pool you didn't... More

Overall we would stay in Sapphire Village again. A few things you should know: 1) As others have mentioned, the beach is about a 5 minute walk downhill (thus. 8-10 min walk uphill). NOT bad! We all can use the exercise. Not for those who are physically challenged... unless staying in a beach level condo). 2) Older place. But many... More

This resort is in a prime location. Red Hook is so close. I wouldn't walk it - the roads and drivers are crazy. We rented a car, which I'd do again. I'm not one for public transportation, waiting for a taxi/safari to come by. This is not a hotel, again, we rented from homeaway.com and through a property management company.... More

Just returned from a stay here and everything was wonderful! We booked a privately owned condo through vrbo for a great value. The village is not directly on the beach but a short walk down the hill, which we didn't mind. The views overlooking the beach and other islands are amazing. There are two pools which are never too crowded.... More

After reading enough reviews to decipher the difference between the Sapphire Beach condos and the Sapphire Village condo's, we chose to book at the Village and were so happy with our decision. We booked through a property management company and found them to be extremely helpful and conscientious about providing good directions and ensuring all of our questions/concerns were addressed... There is a lot of misinformation and confusion here. There are 2 separate, unaffiliated properties on or at Sapphire Beach: the red roof buildings are Sapphire Resort and the blue roof buildings are Sapphire Village. Sapphire Village is a Condominimum Owners Association (COA) where all the units (1 bedroom or efficiency) are individually owned. This is NOT a resort or... More
