They were renovating the outside building, painting and redoing the decks. The room is nice and clean, furnished , just needed a little bit of updating . Worth the money, I wouldn't spend more than $200 a night, basically it's a place where it's A no-frills place to stay, it's not your Ritz Carlton. It's a place where you just... More

We just arrived from our spring vacation in St. Thomas. We stayed 4 nights in this resort that needs a renovation urgently!! We needed 2 rooms because we traveled with our 3 children (13-11-9 years). First, we didn't get two rooms next to each other as we requested. You should know that instead what is promoted in the ads in... More

No matter how many times we state it here people are still going to book with an off the wall management site so that they might save a few dollars. PLEASE ALWAYS RENT DIRECT FROM AN OWNER using VRBO or HOMEWAY. I promise you if you do this you will be thrilled with your accomodations and you will receive immediate... More

We were very satisfied with this resort. We stayed in a Harbor View room. It was large, clean and modern. You look out your front patio and can see the sail boats and other small crafts for rent in the marina. It was quiet and not far from the beautiful beach. Management was nice and helpful. All units have kitchens.... More

We stayed for 5 nights in the Sea Glass (E-206) unit which was a beautiful condo with a gorgeous oceanfront view on the second floor of the complex. It had been updated and was very comfortable with its spacious bathroom and premium king size mattress. There was plenty of room for my husband and me. The owners were very accommodating... More

Snorkeling was fantastic especially when i was able to swim with Rays and Turtles and all the other beautiful fishes and coral! We went to Red Hook... More

We stayed in D201. The room was clean and in good shape. Not the newest place but was fine for what we payed. The second floor was also nice because we had a better view than the first floor and didn't walk any more steps than our friends who did have a ground floor room.

On February 25th of 2015 we arrived to find out Crystal Cove Beach Resort was overbooked and we were "UPGRADED" to Sapphire Beach same as reviewer "elrea" with review titled "Mixed bag." This must be the same unit B103 which is on the ground level and has a walk-out to the beach. The dehumidifier is filled with water and does... More

If you want to escape the fast passed life you live daily Sapphire is the best place to visit. There are studio units or two story villa units available. Renting from a private owner is the way to go and it has allowed us to feel right at home. You will have a kitchen to prep meal and beverages but... More

We were "upgraded" from our original reservation at Crystal Cove Beach Resort next door. Ended up in a first floor room with a view of Shark Island and the beach. Most appliances in the unit worked (except the dehumidifier) and everything was very clean. The unit had several sets of salt and pepper were in the cabinet (assuming several groups... More

We rented an efficiency by owner (VRBO) and after reading the reviews here, it pretty much met expectations. 5 Star -location (super close to Red Hook, which means ferry to St John ('my personal location of choice), activities and great restaurants -view - we're in Bldg E and the unobstructed view across to St John/Tortola is simply stunning -beach/snorkeling (as...
