We absolutely loved our stay @ Sapphire Beach. As has been mentioned, I strongly suggest renting from a private owner (vrbo.com); I knew exactly what we were getting before we got there. We had traveled there 3 years in a row. Each year the resort was worse then the last. Nothing is being done to upgrade or even keep it nice. 2 years the restaurants were closed for renovations, you couldn't tell the difference, with out letting anyone know. What a dump. more

This resort is in a law suit status and the property and grounds have not been maintained. It is in a very sad state and is just deteriorating. more

We just returned from Sapphire and it was really wonderful. We regret that we did not spend more time at the resort. It was very private at this time of the year.
