We just stayed at this hotel last week, 5/13 to 5/17/2012. It was awful and appears to be shutting down. They electricity goes off often. The spa was dirty, no clean towels, hot tub had things floating in it. The all-inclusive was a joke. We spent more on eating out than our trip. We checked in today and are already having regrets. --We arrived at 4:30, an hour and a half after check in, and had to wait more than an hour before our room was ready. Hubby and I arrived May 16th for a romantic anniversary getaway. Ride to the hotel in the taxi was nearly an hour. We arrived during rush hour so it's probably only 1/2 hour during non-peak hours. Sugar bay was absolutely horrible and I would never recommend it to anyone. It lowered my opinion of Wyndham, St Thomas and resorts in general.  The beach is ridiculously small with jagged rocks and biting insects everywhere. The pool is always full of people and the fitness center has limited hours.  As if getting devoured by mosquitoes outside wasn't bad enough, every surface in my room was literally swarming with ants.
