I would have to assume that when this resort was first built, that it must have been the jewel of the area. However, failure to upkeep the property is most likely the reason why they no longer have an affiliation with Wyndham (although Wyndham literature is still displayed, this resort IS NOT a Wyndham). The pools at Sugar Bay Resort were beautiful and well maintained. The beach area was also beautiful and clean. The view from our room was breathtaking and well worth the price. Our room on the 3rd floor was fine with a full bathroom and another sink and vanity outside the bathroom. First time to the St. Thomas. Hotel recommended by a colleague who stayed here years ago. Not what I expected from a resort. Poor quality "hotel food" and outdated rooms. Don't let the Wyndham name fool you. Beautiful pool and a good value, but don't do the all inclusive. More
