I am sick of reading all the whining from the reviewers....honestly. After booking my stay at Magens...i went and read all the reviews (usually you do that first but oh well) Needless to say after reading them all I was apprehensive and almost cancelled...I mean....this is my honeymoon after all. Me and my wife stayed here from May 26 to... More

We stayed at Magens Point from May 5-12. When we first arrived, they put us at Tropic Leisure Resort, which is on the same grounds as Magens Point. Upon entering that room, it was disgusting. Bugs everywhere, dirty floors and bathroom, windows were coming apart, and the kitchen area I wouldn't touch or look at. Within ten minutes of checking... More

We stayed at this resort for a week and it was the dreariest week of our lives. It should be avoided at all cost. I had to kill two cockroaches in the first five minutes, the unit was dirty, the reception staff are extremely unhelpful in every aspect, the patio door curtains where black with grim and dirt, the ceiling... So very disappointed in Megans Bay Resort. Great location, great restaurant but NOTHING ELSE. From the moment we arrived, cats greeted us, bugs welcomed us to Room 334 above the entry to the balcony (don't lean against railings not sure about the support) just full of bugs, next morning introduction was bugs on bathroom wall, ceiling and ceiling in vanity... Didn't know what to expect after reading some of the reviews, which was all over the place but here goes. Much like my college freshman dorm, which provided a small and clean place to sleep, that's about all the resort, not including Indigo restaurant has to offer. My TV didn't work (despite 3 visits from the building maintenance), the refrigerator... More

My wife and I stayed here in April 2007. The previous 2 years we stayed on St. John, but decided to stay here this year to explore St. Thomas. We got a deal on this resort paying only $440 for the entire week. I paid that for a day and a half at St John last year. While I'd say... More

Like others, I was extremely nervous about Magens Point Resort after reading the reviews. I even thought about switching our reservations! I'm very glad that we didn't. In my opinion, the views and location of this resort are the best on the island! We were in St Thomas for a wedding that took place at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort. Magens... More

This hotel is awesome. But before I came to this hotel I was quite scared. But when I walked in you were nicely greeted by the receptionist. The rooms had perfect veiws and was in great condition. There has been a lot of renovation in my opinion! Then as I was reading the reveiws of the hot tub not being... More
