Stuff happens and what makes the difference is how you handle the stuff. Power outage off and on for 48 hrs. Staff worked diligently to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. This is my 5th time to Magens Point and for me the most memoriable and enjoyable. My compliments and a Huge thankyou for Lori, Wanda, Kevin, Meredith, Evan, Viola,... More

We had a great time at Megens Point due to the Member Services rep, Meredith Durr. She greeted us upon arrival, helped us take our cases to our room and filled us in on all the activities available on the island. The hotel itself was not as bright a spot. In the first room we had the TV didn't work... More

Ok, I should mention that we are cat people. My daughter was absolutely delighted at the friendly, sleek-furred, well-socialized cats that came to the call of "kitty kitty kitty". One even "cat"apulted himself across a couple of low brick walls to run to us (apparently expecting food and petting, which we happily gave him!) Why am I focusing on this?... More

The folks at Magen's Point make the modest accommodations more pleasant. They are super friendly and help with all that they can. They do have a great little bar and grill and a fabulous Italian restaurant. The activity Director, Meredith, was very helpful in many ways. The highlight of our trip was the all-day snorkeling tour on the 65 ft... More

I stayed at Magens Point 2 weeks, first time in st.Thomas, My experience was horrible, the electricity went out, we had no water could not use the toilet, The "general Store" because they know u have to take a taxi(20.00 to get to a store) their prices are 2-3 more than the stores in town. This was our first time of staying on St. Thomas, most of the time we stay on St. John, however staying at Magens Point made our vacation AWESOME! The staff was GREAT, you must meet Merdedith (event planner), she does an outstanding job. She told us the things we must do and see, she even hung out with us! If... More

We were bummed when we arrived to Magens Point Resort. Maybe I just had a false sense of what island life was like! Our room and the resort were pretty run down. Cobb web with large spider in shower, light bulb out over the sink, stains on couch pillows, large stain on bed sheets, stains on couch, curtains broke, clear... More

More then 24 family and friends stayed at Megan's Point Resort- last week. The staff was accommodating, pleasant and friendly. The pools were clean and planting's beautiful. We had a dinner/ BBQ at the lower pool for 60 people.. It was perfect! A special thank you to Lori, for getting the rooms together, especially in off season. The pool bar-... More

We love this place. We go every two years or so and stay here. We walk to the beach and love the location. Humming birds are flitting around enjoying the flowers. We have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I have observed tired travelers being demanding and rude who don't get the same over the top service we... More

We stayed at Magens through an RCI trade, but I researched regular pricing before we left. This is a wonderful option for families on a budget. It's certainly not the Ritz, but that's not why you come to the islands anyway. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit which gave us plenty of space (TIP: If you are getting a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Magens Point is a two and a half star, unpretentious and very relaxed resort facing Magens Bay. Our facilities include two restaurants, one Italian finer dining featuring a wine-mojito bar, and the pool sports bar with burgers, bbq, pizza and sandwiches. We offer two jacuzzis, tennis courts, a coffee-deli-wine on site shop with breakfast, a gaming room, a small fitness center offering also yoga, zumba and massage services. All our studios and villas have been tastefully redone, and are fully equipped with kitchenettes, microwaves and small fridges, plus energy efficient air conditioning units. Most units also face Magens Bay, and you can wake up to spectacular views of the bay, or watch the sun set from your balcony while sipping the cocktail of your choice.Last year RCI awarded us recognition for excellence in hospitality services, and since 2010 we have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars upgrading our facilities. We may not be for everyone, true. But if you are looking for that "limin" effect that locals brag about.. come stay with us. We promise you an unforgettable experience. Magens Point is what the islands should be all about. ... more   less
