This review is about TROPIC LEISURE CLUB @ Magens Point Resort. We stayed in a studio unit. BAD The bed is very uncomfortable. Bring your own padding. Shower head too high for anyone below 6-ft. Too remote, away from restaurants. Need car to get to Magens Beach, not walkable No wifi in rooms GOOD Relaxing, quiet Excellent front desk, especially... More

Spent five weeke there February into March 2015. Great time. Great staff. Great location. Reserve a car before you go. Trust me you can't afford the taxes. Often they are out of cars in high season. Drive on the left. Don't freek out you can do it. Leave your state side attitude at home. Nothing on the island works like... More

Enjoyed our stay at magens this year. The resort is now running on a generator getting off wapa power to have more reliable power, they did have an issue with the generator while there so we had a few hours with out power but the staff was accommodating and they refunded fees charged for electricity. The generator was supposedly fixed... More

my family and I stayed in a newly remodeled two bedroom unit which was lovely. We were two minutes away via car from Megan's bay beach, voted one of the top 10 beaches in the world. The staff was incredible, very nice and very informative. There are restaurants on site as well as two pools in case you don't wish... More

My husband and I stayed in a studio here last week. Had a wonderful time. Met some wonderful folks from all over and the staff were terrific! Rooms are a little dated but who goes to St. Thomas to sit in a room? It had everything needed and a beautiful view to boot! They have a nice open air bar... More

This is a second visit in 5 years to St Thomas and Magens Bay! Take an open air taxi for $6, Ride to the bay and rent a chair in the relaxed yet fun beach. Grab a local rum drink and soak up the sun! I Love this place! Scenic- & emerald green water! No worries or regrets! Family oriented... More

Just had the pleasure of spending a week here. The view of Magens Bay was great. The staff were very warm and always there when you had a question. They seemed to enjoy working here which gave a relaxed feeling to the place . A great spot to lay in the sun and make new friends around the pool while... More

As a travel nurse I lived at Magens Point Resort for 8 months while I worked at the local hospital. I have to tell you that we absolutely loved Carla, Peter and Wanda at the front desk. They were always pleasant and helpful. Magens is old and in need of upgrading/repair. There were constant power outages weekly, our apartment flooded... More

We stayed in Tropic Leisure Club (the timeshare side), and we're extremely disappointed in the bed. Every bed on the property is a full sized, box spring mattress. It sunk in the middle, and the two of us barely fit. There were hardly any people at the resort, which was one of the busiest weeks of the year for the... More

We spent 10 days camping on St. Croix and St. John. We decided to spend our last two nights on the Islands at Magens Point. It was perfect for us because we were done beaching and just wanted to relax, take hot showers and just chill. We had a lovely room with a view of Magens Bay. It's about a... More
