I am perfectly happy with the stay at the Crystal Palace! No better place on the island! The host is THE BEST on this island, has a great sense of humour! He not only picked me up and saw me off at the airport on time free of charge, but also drove me to places when he was going to... More

We stayed here twice on our recent trip to the Virgin Islands. Once was planned and once wasn't. The planned stay was upon our arrival, when we were picked up at the airport by Ronnie, the host, and enjoyed the charming old mansion for an evening. It's located up on a hill overlooking downtown Charlotte Amalie and the Caribbean --... More

although the proprietor is very charming and helpful, the facilities leave much to be desired. there was no hot water during 3 of our 4 showers, the shower floor was literally black, and the overall ambience was of a third world youth hostel. however, the location was close to the shopping district.

The Crystal Palace has a wonderful view from the two back terraces and is very characteristic and charming.

We stayed in Charlotte Amalie at the Crystal Palace for 2 nights before heading onto a charter boat in Tortola for a week. The owner is great and picked us up from the airport at no additional cost, which was a really nice perk. The Crystal Palace is a historic home, which I am sure, was gorgeous in its day.... More

If you're looking for a pleasant, easy, non-commercial place to stay that still boasts lots of charm and character, then Crystal Palace is the spot! My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights there and loved it. Location is convenient to town whether you have a car or not (I'd recommend getting a car if you plan to tour the island).... More

My wife and I stayed here on the tail end of our honeymoon and we really wish we had spent more time here, 3 nights was not enough! Ronnie was nothing short of fantastic, he really made it seem like we we're staying with an old friend. We would cap off our nights with a drink from the honor bar... More

This historical B&B is beautiful and comfortable, but what makes it standout is the service. Traveling with my daughters, 11 and 16, and my lady, we were greeted at the airport by our driver and driven to our rental car company. He waited while I signed the paper work and we followed him to the Crystal Palace. It is down... More

Ron, the innkeeper, is a great host! The room was clean and the bathroom was clean. The B&B is really lovely with a good view, probably the best in Charlotte Amalie. There is easy access to the ferry in Charlotte Amalie as well as the shopping district. The B&B is quiet. Jackie was a great taxi driver as well as... More

Small family owned and run hotel located in private home. Full of antique furniture and decor. Large airy rooms; excellent view from balcony overlooking harbour. Close to shopping, restaurants, old historical center, and ferry dock.
