We stayed at the Green Iguana at the beginning and end of a sailboat charter out of St. Thomas and found it convenient and welcoming. The hotel has new managers who tried hard to please. This can be a bit of a challenge, because it is an older building in a somewhat strange location on the side of Blackbeard's Hill.... more

We spent two overnights at the Green Iguana on our way to the BVI. The hotel is small (9 rooms) but clean and well laid out. Stayed one night coming over from BVI. This is a great little funky hotel. It is run by Sue and Bill who could not be more helpful. You better be in shape as those 99 steps to town are killer on the way up. However you can take a cab back for $5.00. The rooms were clean, comfortable and secure.... more
