A small friendly and intimate family run establishment in the heart of the old Danish colonial settlement of Charlotte Amalie. The hotel has a lot of character for those looking for something neat and interesting as opposed to big and typical chain hotels. This old area of town is a bit run down, but the walk down to the waterfront... More

The rooms are a bit outdated, but that's what one would expect for the price and age of all buildings in the area. The service was MORE than expected. We stayed one night before a catermeran trip and then at a different hotel after the trip that cost us almost double. Was that a mistake! Bunker Hill has a nice... More

Friendly, hard working staff, breakfast with a view, a short walk to downtown, clean and comfortable rooms and a good price! I would definitely make Bunker Hill my choice on my next visit to St Thomas. Our room was clean and included a small frig, hair dryer and air con. We enjoyed several lunches and dinners in the restaurant. The... More

We were looking for a good price. And that hotel offers good rates. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The little restaurant they have is delicious. The area where it is located is not the best, but it is two blocks away from main street. So it makes the perfect hotel if you... More

One of the best hotel I had during my 19 days tour of the Caribbean. Although the rooms may be outdated, they are clean and spacious. If you want the 5 stars hotel service for the price of a 3 stars, the Bunker Hill is THE place to go in St-Thomas. The Jack-of-all-Trades grandson of the founders of the hotel... More

Our stay at Bunker Hill was very pleasant. Staff were all super friendly and accommodating, esp. Thomas who grabbed 3 of our bags and ran them up the stairs like a football player! Rooms were clean, just a bit dated, but who cares! We were only in our rooms to sleep and shower. Breakfast was perfect- cooked from scratch...and the... More

We were traveling to St. Thomas on a budget. I booked via Hotels.com, and the rate was about $160 a night all told (with tax and fees, etc). We arrived at night and the area isn't the greatest, but all the cabbies know the bunker hill hotel. Upon arrival, a young gentleman working the desk helped us check in, and... More

My husband and I have family in STT. We stay with them when possible, when its not possible or we just want some privacy, we ALWAYS stay at Bunker Hill. Our rooms have always been clean, the staff always welcoming, the view is incredible, the price is affordable, and the breakfast has never been disappointing! We like it because we... More

Comlimentary breakfast offers one egg, 3 single grapes, 1 small piece of canteloupe, and small coffee. The room is bearly clean, floor and bathroom not clean correctly. The area is scary and we were afraid going out at night. The free wifi did not during our 4 day stay despite our complaints to the front desk.

Dear Baby272. We find it rather peculiar that you would choose to stay in a dirty room, in a bad part of town for 4 nights all the while starved in the mornings and fearing for your life. That...sounds... horrible! Since this is the only opportunity you have given us to address your concerns, we would like to say that... More

I would not only stay here again, I would totally recommend the hotel. Thomas was great and went above the call of duty to check on my safety one evening. Breakfast is as good as other reviews mention. The location is just fine and central to most things in town and about a 15 minute walk from French Town, one... More
