Very quaint and rustic. I liked the local feel, it felt like we were staying at a friend's house. The pool and surroundings are beautiful. We called ahead because we knew we would be arriving early in the morning. They were very accommodating and let us check in even though the official check in is 3. We had the smaller... More

I love a great value, so that means I love the Galleon House. This cool little hotel sits on the hill right above literally hundreds (could be thousands) of restaurants, bars, and shops. Your perch is set in a perfect location. The rooms are basic, but when I stayed about 2 years ago- my room was spotless. It even smelled... More

The room price is very reasonable and the hotel is clean and has a nice view of Charlotte Amalie. The room is small, with air-conditioning, now window and a private bath. Spartan, but clean. Gail was very gracious as we arrived after 9 pm, and even helped carry up one of the suitcases. Warning - this is a drawback of... More

My husband and I arrived to ST Thomas too late in the day to catch a ferry to the BVI, our final destination. We booked a room at the Galleon. It was very inexpensive and included a full breakfast the next day. We arrived after 9pm, but Gail was very gracious to make us a Rum Punch and call for... More

I enjoyed my stay at Galleon House. Gail, the manager, is very accommodating. She is a world of information; help and suggestions. She runs the place like a mother would her own home and it truly is your home away from home. Gail watches over her guests to make sure they all have a wonderful vacation without wasting money or... My wife and I stayed at Galleon House for 3 nights this summer and yes there were a few mosquitoes and lizards but what do you expect on an island. We had a great time and the staff was very friendly. It is not The Reef but not a bad choice if you are open to trying something different and... More

My friend and I stayed in this place last summer, it was really beyond our expectations , really nice hostel, the room were really big and clean , bathroom was nice, flat screen , AC which was a huge plus , and ocean view, free breakfast and access to the pool and Main Street was just down the street which... Great location - the Galleon is a walk away from downtown Charlotte A. Great value - clean rooms, yummy breakfast. I really appreciated that Chris whipped me up a breakfast sandwich before the 8am "start" as I was off early for SCUBA. G & C managers were gentle and kind. Lot's of short stairs - as others have mentioned -... More

Everyone talked about the stairs there more than I figured on. You should not come with a big suitcase. What makes this bed and breakfast worth it is the woman who manages it. She immediately makes you feel at home. It just something about her. Everyone talks about the food and I see why. Too bad my flight left early... More

Galleon House is a great little hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable. The owners were very nice and hospitable. They helped us find a great place to eat next door and pointed us toward beaches and the correct ferries we needed. I also loved that the price included a very tasty breakfast. Be warned there are a TON of... More
