Great location - the Galleon is a walk away from downtown Charlotte A. Great value - clean rooms, yummy breakfast. I really appreciated that Chris whipped me up a breakfast sandwich before the 8am "start" as I was off early for SCUBA. G & C managers were gentle and kind. Lot's of short stairs - as others have mentioned -... More

Everyone talked about the stairs there more than I figured on. You should not come with a big suitcase. What makes this bed and breakfast worth it is the woman who manages it. She immediately makes you feel at home. It just something about her. Everyone talks about the food and I see why. Too bad my flight left early... More

Galleon House is a great little hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable. The owners were very nice and hospitable. They helped us find a great place to eat next door and pointed us toward beaches and the correct ferries we needed. I also loved that the price included a very tasty breakfast. Be warned there are a TON of... More

If you know going in that this is not a resort you will have a really good experience. Most of ST Thomas the locals are trying to get over on you and get your money. This is not the case here. Owner and staff welcoming and polite. Breakfast was good and complementary. The room was quaint. The mattress need replaced... More

We started out in St Croix but on a whim took the seaplane across to St Thomas for 2 days . Got a last minute booking at The Galleon House and basically had to take what they had available which was one of the windowless cheap rooms. Eeek ! We thought but on further inspection the room and bathroom were... More

To begin, the Galleon House is NOT a fancy resort, and YES there are quite a few steps to get to your room. That being said, my stay was absolutely fantastic. Wanting a quiet, off the beaten path place to stay, my boyfriend and I visited Galleon House in July and had a great experience. Our room was clean and... More

I stayed at Galleon House for one night when transferring flights. It was around 97 dollars, from memory, for a room with a double bed and a single bed. Room was pretty basic with air con, and a private shower. Staff was friendly enough and booked me a taxi for the morning. If I was coming to St Thomas again,... More

We Stayed at the Galleon House twice on our way through and back St. Thomas for a Boat Charter in Tortola. I found the hotel on Hotels.com and researched it on Trip Advisor. For the Price per a night, I was willing to give it a try. We only needed a place to lay our head for a night. We... More
