My experience at Villa Fairview was mixed. I met some wonderful people there but had some not so great experiences. The place is not exactly like it is represented on it's website. The owner has two places that he runs, Crystal Palace and Villa Fairview. He lives in Crystal Palace and it shows. I stayed there for a few days while waiting for my room at Villa Fairview to be ready. I guess I got spolied by the air conditioning and the niceness of CP.

When I was moved to Villa Fairview, I was a bit shocked at it's condition versus what I saw online. There were goats running around the property and a dog that took up residence on the couch outside my room. My room was decent but small. I really liked the fact that cable, phone, electricity and water were free. There was also a small fridge and toaster oven.
