I stayed at the Bluebeards Castle Resort for four days. Understand the resort is located in downtown Charlotte Amalie. Its not a beach front location. I actually enjoyed this because we were walking distance from the harbor, restaurants and shops. The resort is located on top of a very steep hill. The walk will make you break into a sweat... More

We had friends going down there for a week so I was looking for a reasonable place to stay. I found this on Orbitz and I was very pleased with the experience. First of all, it is rented timeshares and not a hotel so do not expect daily room service. You can get clean towels by calling housekeeping so to... More

We thought this was a normal hotel but....... there was very poor costumer service. They make you pay for Internet by the minute! They charge you to print or fax from lobby. There is no room cleaning while your there. To get new towels you have to leave them outside your room. Gym is very run down and poor.

After sailing for a week, I thought I could come to this hotel to relax....We booked through Expedia and were aware we may have to switch rooms during our short 2 night stay. What we didn't expect was to check out at 10AM and not be let into our next room for several hours later. Not a big deal since... More

We really loved staying here. We were in Villa 1 with Views of the harbor. The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. After the sun goes down, the city lights from the huge veranda are very romantic. Our room was a one bedroom unit with a king bed and a pullout sofa in the living room. It had an efficiency type... I found this resort to not be a friendly place. The front desk ladies were not very welcoming. Our rooms were OK. The bed's were clean yet I did not feel comfortable walking barefoot in my room. Our shower had a broken soap dish that was glued back together. Our beach towels were very well used and thread bare. The... More

We were staying in an unsuitable property in St Thomas due to last-minute trip plans and we found rooms on Priceline for this hotel and immediately booked to have an upgraded lodging situation. We were thrilled to get this because it was during Christmas and the island was overcrowded. We were required to pay in-full, in advance, online by Priceline.... More

Some friends came to St. Thomas, USVI for holidays. Check in was fast. I know I was with them. King size bed. And pull out couch. Kitchenette fridge and hot plate and sink. Pool and restaurants were good. Yes the is a rooster crowing in the early morning, but that is the entire island. Rooster at my house starts at... More

After spending a week on a sailboat, getting to see the Virgin Islands from the water side versus land side we had two nights to await our return flight. We chose Bluebeards as it is closest to Downtown, restaurants, shopping. The one thing I can tell you is you will not find better hospitality. Juleen Greene and Simone could not... More

How I would have liked to have seen this resort in its heyday. It must have been really something, set so beautifully into the hill overlooking the harbour. The resort is showing its age, but our unit in the Hilltop Villas III was clean and we loved being able to sit on our balcony and watch the cruise ships come... More
