My trip started out rocky but Shimone turned it around! My room now overlooks the ocean. Can't beat it! Looking at it, my stress melted away immediately!. Everything is so great. Best resort on the island! If you want a true upscale resort, this is the place! As soon as you arrive, rum awaits while you check in at the... More

My husband & I spent a week celebrating our 30th anniversary at Frenchman's Reef Resort. The service and accommodations were excellent and far exceeded our expectations. I will take this opportunity to thank Lobby Ambassador Roberta Bunn and Executive Chef Mitchell Cooper for making our anniversary very special. It is people like them that make this a 5 Star resort.... More

The Marriott property is actually divided into three areas - The Cove (timeshares), The Reef (main hotel) and the Morning Star (a more secluded series of small buildings with it's own beach, pool and restaurants). There are shuttles that run between the different areas throughout the day and evening. We stayed at the Morning Star and found the room to... More

Let me start by saying, I did a lot of homework before I selected the hotel for my 20th wedding anniversary. The Marriott Frenchman’s Reef was an outstanding hotel. They just finished a $48 million renovation. Our stay started with outstanding check-in with Roberta Bunn the Lobby Ambassador. Roberta treated my wife and I like we had been friends for... More

We stayed at the Marriott for 6 nights. This resort offers plenty of pool and dining options. We enjoyed the views from the hotel as well especially watching the cruise ships come into port. The service was excellent as well as the food at the restaurants on the property (Coco Joe's, Havana Blue and AquaTerra Ocean Front Grille). We walked... More

We spent the first 6 nights of our wedding vacation at the Morningstar side. What we loved most about this was the close proximity to the beach - the beach was so nice, and even with the door closed and air conditioning on, we could hear the waves all night. The renovations in the Frenchman's Reef were nice as well.... More

My husband won this trip at a silent auction last summer so we finally booked it for earlier this month. We were highly skeptical after reading some of the reviews below but we had no choice but you go! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this resort for the 3 days we were there. We stayed on the 3rd floor... More

They just built the inifinity pools and updated the swim up bar. The rooms look the same as they have been for years, but they were always nice. The amenities and food were all quite good. Things are on the pricey side. Expect to pay about 12 bucks per person plus tax and bags to get there from the airport,... More

During a recent visit to St. Thomas, we stayed at the Marriott Frenchman's Reef Resort. The start of our stay was an unusual one, and worththy of mentioning. As we were arriving at the resort, I began experiencing an allergic reaction to a granola bar I had eaten earlier on my flight into St. Thomas. As I was making me... More

What a beautiful resort. Infinity pools, lovely beach and peaceful atmosphere. My love and I stayed for six days. We visited St John &Trunk Bay beach. Truck bay beach is an all white beach, breath taking. The Marriott spent 43 million in renovating and it was well worth it. I loved it and will go back in a drop of... More
