First the good things...the pools and spa were great. Also, the restaurants were nice. We went down to Coco Joe's for the buffet on Thursday night. While pricey, we thought it was well worth it. We also went down to the vacation club for a buffet Monday night which was ok at best. The daily dose of rum punch in... More

This property is breathtaking! It sits on the edge of a harbor with a view of downtown.. You see the cruise ships sailing by from your room.. The customer service was excellent. Ms. Antoinette Gomez at the front desk is a great asset to your hotel.., her personalize service and professional knowledge ensuring that your stay is magnificent should not... More

We just got back from a week's stay at the Marriot Frenchman's Reef. We took our three teenagers. We couldn't be happier with the property. (And know that I'm fussy) The view of the harbor is breathtaking. The rooms (we had two) were spacious and updated. Fresh water bottles were provided each morning for our rooms and another nice touch... More

This has been our yearly 7/23/14--7/28/14 (Anniversary) get away resort for the last five years. Again as aways, we had a great time with special thanks to Juandella who got us a special room (5526) because the one we usually stay in was booked. The breakfast buffet can not have more items to chose from, the service from the gals... More

Did not get the room we reserved even though we used a travel agent. We reserved a King Suite and ended up in a double at Morning Star. My son was on a knee walker recovering from foot surgery and that is why we reserved room in the tower. The front desk told me he would be able to mange... More

My family and I went in July for our vacation. We chose the Marriott because usually the rooms are clean and service is very good. This was not the case at this Marriott. The hotel and rooms needs a face lift badly. My understanding is half the hotel has been renovated but it did not appear that way to me.... More

Nice resort, pricey. My husband had ordered room service and the food was really bad so he complained to mgmt. who offered him a free meal with him on the next visit. When we got there, he didn't want anything to do with us. We travel there frequently, so it was a bit disappointing. The rooms are very nice, however... More

My husband and two young children (ages 4 and 6) decided to take a week long leisure vacation this summer. Despite the conflicting reviews, I booked this resort for its views and Marriott loyalty. On the same day of our arrival, I regret my decision. We were given Morning Star room 5523 but requested to pay for an upgrade in... More

We went to this resort as part of a business travel trip. we were assigned a room in one of the towers overlooking the beach below. Great view. The rooms are pretty dated as this is an older hotel. But it is the best one on the island. There are other options on the island but most are B & Bs.... More

I want to thank a Leah, the front desk manager, for making our trip much more enjoyable. Leah you are excellent example of true customer service. Myrtle at Coco Joes was wonderful. Ask for her when eating at this establishment. Yvonne was great too. We looked forward to seeing her everyday. Dee at the pool bar was awesome. The above... More
