Check in took awhile. Room preference was not available until next day. Next day came and room preference still not available. Finally moved rooms after 2 days. Beds were uncomfortable and rooms were dated and not very clean. Food was not good. Went for Lobster buffet and found lobster overcooked and badly seasoned. Lunch took over an hour to get... More

My sister and I spent a week here and loved every minute of it. The beach is gorgeous, the staff is kind and helpful, and the resturants are amazing! My only advice, is to try and stay at Morning Star. We liked that it was less "hotel like".

A full amenity hotel with a central location. The pool, beaches, restaurants and bars are enough that you never have to leave the resort although I recommend you do! Friendly and attentive staff and easy access to St. John and the downtown area by water taxi directly from the hotel. I would stay here again (and again.)

The morning star rooms are a bit dated, but our room overlooked the beach and it was a great spot. Yes the a/c was noisy but it was better than the mother and daughter cursing next door at midnight. Where is the hotel etiquette...common sense in some travelers? We took full advantage of our daily $35 resort fee. Floats, snorkels,... More

We stayed with a large group (over 45 people) at the end of March. When we arrived, the check-in process was disappointing. We had booked two beds in the room but when we arrived we were told that there were only king beds available. After getting to our room, we immediately had to go back to the front desk because... We were there for 7 days. The property is laid out with terrific ocean views and the rooms are comfortable. Some of the areas were shut down for repairs, which at times was inconvenient. The staff was always very friendly and helpful - anything we needed they took care of. The poolside restaurant was very good for lunch, although the... More

From the start of our 5 night vacation, it didn't go well. Elite check in counter not open when we first arrived at hotel at noon. We had to wait until after 4:00 to check in, even though we saw a number of people we came in on the van with had checked in hours before. As it was, we... More

This is a beautiful property laid out nicely to give fabulous views from your room or restaurants and the swim pools. Most of the property is well maintained except for one building which had dusty corridors / old paint and with no elevators. Make sure you avoid this during your check-in. We were put up in this building and as... More

Stayed for one night in April. The resort was tired. Rooms we're okay. Bed a little uncomfortable but rooms were clean. Bathroom door did not stay shut. Property overall was okay. Pool areas nice but no waiter/waitress serving drinks. Restaurant was poor and expensive. $16 for a crab cake and wahoo was overcooked. All in all an average resort but... More

Stayed here for the same corporate trip as the previous reviewer, paulo4442. The trip itself was a lot of fun, so this review will focus on the resort itself. In reading the mixed reviews, we were not sure what to expect and even after staying here - I'm not sure what to expect on a future stay given wide selection... More
