I highly recommend Sapphire Village. We stayed in rm. 241, Barbados building, which has spectacular views, is nicely furnished, spacious, clean, and well-suited to our family of four - our kids are ages 6 & 8. We loved the convenience of the upper-level pool, which is just steps from the unit, allowing them to swim right after breakfast and again... more

I was a little worried about the accomodations Sapphire Village had to offer, but we wanted something cheaper and we booked through a co-worker who is a travel agent to get an extra discount. I was greatly surprised at how awesome our stay ended up being! The only bad thing was check-in. We arrived around 8pm and when we got... more

I read about Bill Sands the owner of the condo on Forbes.com Mr. Sands was featured in a book by Daniel McGinn from Newsweek about Vacation homes and the condo at Sapphire Village St Thomas was mention. I was intrigued so I found the website www.CondoStThomas.com and booked. Sapphire Village is a gated enclave of 225 units nestled above Sapphire... more

I have stayed at Sapphire Village twice this year; once in Jan and again in April. I am heading back in June and will stay there as well. I love the place. First of all, if you do not want to rent a car, no problem. Take a cab to the property and then use the 'Safari', a converted pick-up... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here while we were on island for a wedding. Bernie, the Property Manager gave us the quickest and most efficient check-in process ever! She was very friendly and helpful. The suite was very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped so we were able to prepare meals for ourselves if we chose not to eat... more

Booked my most recent return trip to Sapphire Village on VRBO, I’ve been to Sapphire Village too many times to count. I prefer the 1 bedroom over the studio units unless traveling alone. I sleep less then my wife and a studio makes it hard. I’ve had a room in every building except St Vincent at one time or another.... more

My boyfriend and I just returned from a trip to St. Thomas Virgin Islands this past weekend (stayed for 7 nights), and I have to say, I was skeptical about renting a condo at this property after reading many negative reviews. I originally read a review which mentioned a property manager by the name of Rita, who has very nice... more

First trip to St Thomas. We booked through a travel agent, a package deal. I guess you pay for what you get. We stayed at Sapphire Village Dominica Bldg. Room 318. We are not picky, the room was allright, but the unit we had needed repairs. The airconditioner was freezing cold. We could not adjust temperature. We even tried to... more

My husband and I were in St Thomas this past January, compliments of a birthday trip from parents, who provided airline tickets and a weeks stay at a privately owned condo. The condo was managed by a lady named Rita and her husband Gerry, who were most helpful. I phoned Rita in advance to inquire about the need of a... more

We blindly went to this location due to the lack of availability of other hotels. I must say that we were pleasantly suprised. This location was wonderful! The beach is beautiful, there are boat tours/waverunner rentals available at this location, and everything that you could possibily want within a few miles. I recommend taking the "safari" bus instead of renting... more
