Please stay away! Pay a little extra and stay somewhere else. My husband, our infant daughter, and I stayed for 1 week. We were moved to another room halfway through the trip and were told the owner booked it for his friends. There is no wifi in the room and we had to go to the lobby to search for... more

This place is absolutely disgusting!! The beach is nice but the rooms are outdated and just awful to stay in! Our room overlooked the dumpsters and the porta-jons which was in building F. I can't believe this place has such a high rating, I truly felt like we were at the resort from hell... We immediately booked a room at... more

This place is beautiful, everyone on the staff was helpful, our room was updated and great. We will definatly go back to this place. Next time we will probably stay on the bottom level to walk directly out onto the beach. Although we did meet a lady who lives there and she owns a second level unit, she rents it... more

As a long time guest at Sapphire Beach, I have watched the resort prosper and decline. The beach has always been the main attraction - it is arguable the nicest on the island and home to a beautiful reef with snorkelling. However, our last few stays there have met with poor customer service and dated accomodations. Fortunately, our stay over... more

This is the first time I have ever written a review. My experience was so terrible that I felt compelled to warn others. Our check-in time was to be at 2 (or maybe it was 3) PM. We arrived early having come from a week's stay in St. John. Understandably our room was not ready so we thought we'd use... more

We rented condo B209 from the owner from Nov 7 - Nov 14. This was the 2nd time that we stayed at Sapphire. Last time was at the Village...this unit was on the beach, 2nd floor. I'd first like to say that the poster who said there was no restaurant at Sapphire is wrong. It's up on the hill where... more

We stayed on the beachfront, 2nd floor balcony overlooking the beach and bay with views to St Johns. This review is conditional, I understand the complaints about the Resort, and if I paid alot more than I did, perhaps I would have complained as well. But the complaints led me to book the Condo vacation of over a week with... more

As a frequent visitor to Sapphire Beach Resort, it makes me sad to read all the negative publicity about such a beautiful resort. I remember the days when the bar was packed with people all the time and when the Sunday beach parties were over flowing with people. It seems that Sapphire Beach Resort is in need of some new... more

This was the worst hotel my boyfriend and I had stayed at. The actual structure is falling apart, the staff has no concept of costomer service and they advertise that this resort has a restaurant which it doesnt. I found this place through Hotels.com which gave it four stars. Their rating system should be abolished as this hotel should not... more

I exchanged my timeshare in Ireland for this place. The location is great. It is on one of the best beaches on St. Thomas and it is close to Red Hook where you will find the ferry to St. John and several restaurants. I would not stay at this place for several reasons, however. It has been not renovated or... more
