My husband and 10 year old daughter and I stayed for a week in December and although I was very nervous due to some negative reviews, we were quite happy there. Yes, the service is slow but the people working there were nicer than others we encountered on the island. The only people who are friendly are the jewelry store... more

This hotel was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. The view was beautiful from the beach, but that is expected. The water was very cloudy for the island, we traveled to Sapphire Beach and the water was beautiful and very clear. The beach did not look like a regualr beach. At Sapphire Beach there were coral reefs... more

We have gone back to BBC for 3 years, this year will be our 4th. Quiet, not a lot of people, friendly and perfect "getaway". we had plumbing problems and were immediately sent to another room after trying to fix it didn't work. no problem. never have found our room to be dirty at all. yes, staff are slower than... more

This is our second trip to STT and second stay at BBBC. It's not the Mariott or Ritz but it's a decent place to stay if you are low maintenace. We just wanted a nice and quiet beach and that is what we got. We noticed that there have been some minor updates to the resort since the last time... more

This resort would make you not want to go back to St. Thomas. The service was terrible and lazy. The room was disgusting. Our bed was broken and had to be replaced. Our neighbors' room caught on fire while another resident complained that he had to put a bucket underneath his AC. The location wasn't near anything so if you... more

This was our second visit to this wonderful little resort. We brought another couple with us, they fell in love with this place too!!! We are all coming back in 2010. This is a wonderful island setting, peaceful, relaxing, quiet, and beautiful. This is one of Wyndhams older resorts, it does need and seems to be getting some TLC. This... more

I was a bit concerned about this resort based on a few reviews but I do think that it is one of the nicest places I have stayed. Wyndham had just taken over the resort and it looked like they were working hard to make all the necessary improvements. When we saw a vacant room it appeard to be in... more

This past December we stayed at Bluebeard's and had a great time. We lived on the beach and spent many hours in the ocean. The pool looked nice but why use it when you have the ocean? The check in was very slow until I went to the main office and spoke to the manager. Mr. Avery gladly came and... more

There were cats all over, having kittens, and kittens being carried away in a violent way by other cats which upset my neice who sepnt her whole week watching the kittens disappear one by one. There were bugs in the rooms, bed bugs I guess based on other reviews in here, as bugs were not anywhere else on the isalnd.... more

My husband and I stayed at BBBC in early December, and overall we had a very good vacation. Check in was terribly slow (it took over three hours), they had one person working and two people watching, that was a bit frustrating. By the time we got to our room all we wanted was dinner and a little relaxation. In... more
