This is a nice hotel for a few days, short getaway. Overall, it is a pretty property, offers many activities (ie, water sports, tennis, etc) and has a very nice pool overlooking the water. The beach is not one of the nicer ones in the Caribbean, but it is pleasant to sit on and enjoy the views. Rooms and service... more

Beautiful island and property. Make sure to take the ferry to St. John and snorkel at Trunk Bay. Overall very nice resort, a few problems that were a bit annoying when paying the Ritz price. Telephones, not working all week due to lightning strike, this is a security problem. Apparently parts held up in customs. Shower, mainly lukewarm, only hot... more

We just returned from 8 days at the Ritz in St. Thomas. We have traveled quite a bit and usually stay in hotels such as the Ritz, Four Seasons, St. Regis, Park Hyatt or similar. This was a gorgeous place to stay but I am not convinced it was "Ritz Carlton" name worthy. We use the American Express Fine Hotels... more

We stayed in B-320. We loved the view, decent housekeeping, particularly excellent reception upon arrival, and the food at Bleuwater. We loved the service at the kayak rental because they were so cool to work with. The bed was marginal; lots of movement if the other guy wiggled, but very clean and lots of down pillows. The balcony was nice... more

We stayed in the Residences part of the Ritz Carlton. Our room was wonderful and the staff was very nice. The only complaint we had about our stay was the beach and all the sea grass but that was out of their control. Nice pools and good food. more

I was a little cautious about staying here after some of the earlier reviews - they seemed to indicate that the service here was not good. We stayed at the Ritz after spending a week renting a villa on St. John. The service at the Ritz was wonderful. We arrived 5 hours early (before check in time) and they did... more

We had a great stay at the Ritz in St. Thomas. Our room was in keeping with other Ritz Carlton properties we have visted in the Carribean which are San Juan and Montego Bay. Naturally, the properties in the Carribean have much better landscaping as the grounds are all tropical. The mainland Ritz Carlton's offer better rooms and more formal... more

We had a good vacation in St. Thomas at this Ritz. The grounds are beautiful. Everyone was polite and friendly. The pool is wonderful and the beach is nice. The food is above-average. There were no real problems to speak of. However, when I spend extra to stay at the Ritz (or JW Marriott...or Mandarin Oriental...or... you get the point)... more

Just returned from a couple days at the Ritz-Carlton after beginning our trip at the Marriott(MS resort). All i can say is the difference is night and day. We loved this place and cant wait to return. If you can, spend the extra money, use the extra Marriott points and STAY HERE! The facilities, the people, the entire expereince was... more
