Loved the location right on the boardwalk. Staff were very nice to work with and made our stay more enjoyable. Rooms were very comfortable and clean with a large balcony that only looked out into the side street. Good security too. The pool was nice with a beautiful view right across to Protestant Cay, which is a two minute ferry... More

We booked this hotel after seeing it was right on the boardwalk and all rooms had a balcony or patio. Unfortunately, the architect who designed this hotel built it with the patio/balcony for all but two rooms facing AWAY from the water, instead facing the road. Hmmm.... So we were disappointed with this, but other than that the room was... More

The hotel was located on the boardwalk. Shops were all in walking distance and all the excursion boats were right there as well. The room was clean but certainly dated. That did not bother us since we barely spent any time in the room. The hotel is close to the SeaPlane port so you could hear the planes arriving and... More

Very good and helpful staff, Excellent location for walking the waterfront area, Christiansted tourist areas. Laid back older hotel, has patio with trees around. Prices very reasonable On street parking. Restaurant/club attached.

Noisy as in street noise and some noise from the sea planes landing in the harbor but it did not keep my up at night. Comfortable bed, good restaurant connected to the hotel called "Angry Nate's" I did not really enjoy the cold shower in the morning all that much, like most things in the VI they were lacking some... I was here in the off season. The room is in a nice location for doing activities. The room however, is lacking. The furniture and bathroom are very old. The water pressure in the shower is very low. I don't think any money has gone into this place in two decades. Dingy old carpets, walls and drapes. The staff is nice... More

I stayed at the Holger Danske for 9 nights while on a scuba diving trip. This was my first trip to St. Croix. As others have mentioned, this is not a 5-star hotel, nor does it advertise itself as one. But, the property is well kept, and the staff was pleasant. I stayed in room 108, which has a small... This isn't a new modern hotel. What it though is well located, clean and the staff attentive. If what you are looking for is a modestly priced hotel, on the water, which is clean. This is a great choice.

We stayed a week in St. Croix on a diving trip. We stayed in room 315 which is practically on top of everything, and the only room in which I'd consider staying. The pool was within view as was the boardwalk and harbor. We watched the crew load our dive boat each morning from our balcony and then walked the... More

Eight of us from the Houston area journeyed to St. Croix from the BVI to complete a Dive Vacation. We stayed in the Holger Danske Hotel located right on the boardwalk and close to the dive shop, restaurants, and shops. The rooms were clean, the staff very accommodating and where we ate breakfast every morning, Angry Nates, was next door.It... More
