On our 4th trip to STX we wanted to be right on the beach near Christiansted. So we chose unit 101D which is beachfront/waterfront (as are all of the condos in building D). Lovely property, love pool, and of course, gracious & friendly Crucians. Be aware the other buildings all have waterfront views, but again only building D is on... More

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Our first impression of Colony Cove (or antilles resorts, as they are officially called) was that it was surrounded by barb-wire fences. (That can’t be good, right?) Then, as soon as we checked in at 4pm, the “Front desk” closed until 9am on the next day. First, we discovered long gross hairs all over the bathrooms and on... More

The condo was good for the price. Staff was wonderful. Pool area was decent. Snorkeling at this location is not so good. Sea grass is so thick from the shore for about 150 yards. Visibility is about 20 feet, very little fish, no coral to speak of. Snorkeling was better near Frederkisted.

If you are coming to St Croix and just want to scuba dive only, stay here ....otherwise keep looking. We stayed in Unit 302d pluses......great water view, big balcony. Otherwise, you will be sharing a unit with ants on the kitchen countertops. No central air in living room. Bedrooms had wall air conditioners. Place was dirty and dated. Beds were... More

Best beaches can be found on the West side of the island in Frederiksted No sea grass, clear water! Colony Cove is located on the Eastern side. Worth the drive to explore the other beaches. Good eat at the Pickled Greek on Saturdays. Saturday special $5.00 Gyros, they charge for additional sides. Since food is so expensive good alternative for... More

There ARE units with AC units in the Living Rooms, YOU have to ask for those available units with the front check-in desk when they are open. I believe there are like 4-5 from what I've gotten from talking to the grounds people. BUT they do have units with AC units in the Living Rooms...

It's gated condos. Not really a resort. Felt safe and would go back Bathrooms needs updating and cleaned. New toilet seat please. The grounds keeper does great job. Window units in each bedroom. No ac in living room, but always a cool breeze

This is a privately owned condominium community. You can rent through a rental agency or from the owners directly. I just returned yesterday. A friend was renting unit 101A. She rented owner direct. The condo was just okay but in need of some repairs. Peeling paint, small patches of mold here and there (unavoidable in humid areas), ripped screens, many... More

We stayed at the colony cove from July thru August. We have stayed here many times. We like it because its in the middle of the island and everything is easily accessible shopping beaches and attractions. I don't prefer the beach as well as the other beaches nearby because of the seagrass. Friendly staff, I like this condo because we... More

I've stayed at Colony Cove (A303) numerous times and Loved it each time. And will go back in the future. It is fully air conditioned in every room. 3rd floor great view of the ocean, neatly decorated. Some of the things I've read over time give me pause at moments. St Croix is a humid climate, if visiting in the... More
