I'd like to preface this review by saying that my family and I were aware of the whole management company issue before we arrived. We weren't entirely sure what to expect, but decided to move forward with our vacation with open minds and open hearts. I'm so glad we did! My husband and I were traveling with our college aged... Management response:

We are so happy that you kept an open mind and visited our resort as planned. Although it is true that we are going through a transition at the present time with our prior rental management company that was operating on site, we are committed to working past the same and moving forward into a new chapter. We are pleased... More

The website is a complete misrepresentation of the hotel! The rooms are completely outdated. Still with 1980's colours and designs. The appliances are rusty and old. The staff are hard to find, and once found are rude and unhelpful. They seem to have had no training. Although the ocean and beach look appealing. There is lots of sea grass stuck... More

Not a fan of this place and do not suggest it to anyone! I cannot believe the experiences that others have had as well! I apologize for my brutal honesty on this resort, but it has to be said. Number 1: Rooms are outdated. 1980's colours and design. Appliances are old and rusty. Number 2: Very windy and ocean is... More

Let me preface this review by starting at the end; on the Saturday morning of our Tues thru Sun stay, we found out the entire hospitality staff, including the restaurant, had been fired because of some business dispute between owners. So what awaits visitors at this resort in the future is hard to tell. As far as our stay, the... More

We had enough of the New York winter and just wanted to spend few days in a warmer place where we can have peace and quiet, away from the crowd. We always wanted to visit Turks and Caicos. By reading the reviews on hotels/resorts especially from TripAdvisor, we found out Grace Bay is where the crowds are so we did... More

As I am sure you have read with other reviews, the Northwest Point Resort is a great place to go if you want to be away from the crowds and have a great relaxing time ! The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The beaches and water is gorgeous, but do have to deal with seaweed. The resort does a... More

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at Northwest Point Resort the last week of February 2015. If you are looking for a secluded spot, away from the craziness of Grace Bay, clean, comfortable, yet within a 20-30 minute drive from everything the island has to offer, then this is the place for you. Part of the road to... More

Pros: secluded, quiet, away from the big crowd, clean premises, free use of kayak, and decent pool. Cons: Too secluded, beach is filled with natural debris (sea gras...just dirty....beach is NOT swimmer friendly (so what's the point of coming to Turks and Caicos if you can't take advantage of the beach?), no life guard, our unit is in desperate need... We thought it would be great to stay away from the crowds. This is the place to be if you want to be isolated. The drive to get there is half paved and half dirt with pot holes. Your car is sure to get dirty. We didn't realize this or fine on any reviews. It might have been the time... More

It's beautiful, and it has everything you need - spacious, clean, and a great view. Forget the obnoxious, fake Carribean music and stay here, where nothing and no one interrupts your enjoyment of the peaceful beauty: clear, turquoise water, beaming sunshine, and secluded walks to the end of the island from the beach (2 miles+/-). I did this walk every... More
