Point of Paradise at Northwest Point Resort is owned by Tash Kelly and her husband. Tash is by far the nicest, most honest and helpful person I have ever encountered in my extensive travels. Another person named Charles Whitaker, who manages the property, was as nice and helpful as could be. I cannot say enough about these two wonderful people

We had not taken a vacation for many years, it was time to chill out and relax from our hectic lives. We chose Northwest Point Resort for the solitude and privacy. We think that the Resort should be renamed to Northwest Point Retreat, because that is exactly what we experienced. Each morning we walked the beach and enjoyed the truest... More

We originally booked with the Blue Mountain rental company but they abandoned us and the property and left it in disarray. Fortunatley our vacation was saved by VRBO where we quickly found a great one bedroom unit and we are so glad we did. We were able to move in the same day after contacting the owner who was so... this place closed for guests a few days before our arrival but we got no notice. We saw tripadviosr comments - THANK YOU! - and they had stopped answering emails and website was down. We finally got expedia to admit after 2 days of calls and 4 managers that the property was no longer accepting visitors and no one was... More

I'd like to preface this review by saying that my family and I were aware of the whole management company issue before we arrived. We weren't entirely sure what to expect, but decided to move forward with our vacation with open minds and open hearts. I'm so glad we did! My husband and I were traveling with our college aged... Management response:

We are so happy that you kept an open mind and visited our resort as planned. Although it is true that we are going through a transition at the present time with our prior rental management company that was operating on site, we are committed to working past the same and moving forward into a new chapter. We are pleased... More

The website is a complete misrepresentation of the hotel! The rooms are completely outdated. Still with 1980's colours and designs. The appliances are rusty and old. The staff are hard to find, and once found are rude and unhelpful. They seem to have had no training. Although the ocean and beach look appealing. There is lots of sea grass stuck... More

Not a fan of this place and do not suggest it to anyone! I cannot believe the experiences that others have had as well! I apologize for my brutal honesty on this resort, but it has to be said. Number 1: Rooms are outdated. 1980's colours and design. Appliances are old and rusty. Number 2: Very windy and ocean is... More

Let me preface this review by starting at the end; on the Saturday morning of our Tues thru Sun stay, we found out the entire hospitality staff, including the restaurant, had been fired because of some business dispute between owners. So what awaits visitors at this resort in the future is hard to tell. As far as our stay, the... More

We had enough of the New York winter and just wanted to spend few days in a warmer place where we can have peace and quiet, away from the crowd. We always wanted to visit Turks and Caicos. By reading the reviews on hotels/resorts especially from TripAdvisor, we found out Grace Bay is where the crowds are so we did... More

As I am sure you have read with other reviews, the Northwest Point Resort is a great place to go if you want to be away from the crowds and have a great relaxing time ! The resort is beautiful and well maintained. The beaches and water is gorgeous, but do have to deal with seaweed. The resort does a... More
