I'm a fussy traveler and am not shy about complaining about something I did not like. For the first time in my life, I have not a single complaint to raise. My wife and I went for 4 days in October to celebrate our 15th anniversary, and the entire trip was flawless. My only guidance is that people know what... More

I was intrigued by a June visit to an Aman resorts property in Wyoming to try this Bahamas property. Nearly everything was perfect. The welcome is a bit overwhelming -- they send a bunch of people to welcome you and to see you off when you leave. The villa is wonderful; we had an ocean view and, having seen the... More

I've stayed at Amanyara two separate times. Once in 2009 as a couples trip and again in 2010 with a sizable group of friends. Both visits have been truly out of this world. The most recent visit, we stayed in a Tranquility Villa, which is an interesting layout involving a large common area building, staff quarters and a kitchen, a... More

We travelled up to dine at the Amanyara, on a recommendation from our hotel. We were there in time for sunset, with drinks in hand, only to be told that 'non guests cannot take photos'. I am not sure what would drive such a policy, but it laid the foundation for some of the most deliberate, second rate service ever.... More

I truly enjoyed every second of my stay at Amanyara. The property & its views are breathtaking. I really enjoyed the tranqulity Amanyara offered. The staff was amazing & impeccable at all times of the day. I was lucky enough to stay in one of the beautiful villas. Not one detail was missed. At all times of the day we... More

My wife and I recently stayed @ Amanyara in a pool pavilion in October. It was off season and there was some work going on while we were there. It is what it is, no way of avoiding it at a small resort and it was the off season. They did their best to mask it any possible way (music... More

Amanyara is your place. My wife and I chose a pool pavilion. Each pavilion has its own private deck, garden, and of course the immaculate pavilion itself -which is simply an elegant and functional bedroom suite. The pavilion pool is wonderful. Room service can be delivered to your pavilion at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Essentially, if you want to you... More
