Overall a nice place for the location and good value for the dollar.... too bad that when we first checked in, we had to deal with this rude front desk receptionist name Brokemia! No welcoming smile whatsoever, and when I asked her a question, it seems that I was bothering her.... I had booked an ocean view room, but when... more

We stayed at Alexandra for a week in November. When we got into our room, the so called ocean-view room was really a partial ocean view room. You are looking down at the pool and only over the palm tree tops you see the ocean behind two buildings. It is definitely not a ocean front room. The front desk people... more

We just returned from a stay at the Alexandra over Thanksgiving. It was great. The rooms were clean and beautiful. One of the reasons I chose this resort over some such as the Sands or Ocean Club was because the property seemed newer. I am very nervous about staying in older properties on the beach since they can be smelly.... more

I have a Timeshare at the Alexandra Resort & Spa and stayed there with my two children ages 21 and 24 from November 14 thru November 21. We had an absolutely fabulous time and didn't want to go home. The staff was amazing from the reception to the restaurant. Especially the Food and Beverage Manager Alex, the Sales Manager Kimberly... more

My husband and I just returned from our wonderful stay at the Alexandra Resort. What a great resort on a wonderful island. We had a studio unit nicely furnished, and for me a big plus was having a washer and dryer in our room. Maid service was terrific, appliances were in great shape and room towels were thick and fluffy.... more

I stayed at the the Alexandra twice, not sure why the 2nd time, but I guess it was due to the price. I had the same experience both times. Upon arrival at reception, I seemed to bother to the staff. There was no line, but they were busy doing "something". I waited for a bell hop for 15 minutes. The... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Alexandra Resort November 1-6th, in an oceanfront one bedroom suite. Our suite was very large with king bed and 1.5 bathrooms; washer and dryer and expansive oceanfront balcony. The bedroom opens to the balcony so we could literally hear the waves from the balcony (and even from our bedroom!). We were very impressed... more

We just returned from the Alexandra where the weather was warm along with the staff at the resort. Our room was beautiful and the resauant looked like it was getting a good makeover including a new restaurant manager. They where so accomodating even though that main restauant was closed. We ate out on the outer deck and the service and... more

My wife and I are still here in our first of two weeks. The room is brand new, with granite countertops and a full kitchen. Furniture is as good as anywhere in the world (e.g. large flat screen TV in living room and also in bedroom!). There is a double balcony with beautiful furniture from the Philippines and the balcony... more

The Alexandra Resort is a very nice, quiet and well appointed property. Plenty of parking, secure property with decent amenities. The spa was a bit small, but very relaxing and tranquil and reasonably priced. Verona always made me feel special for each treatment. Annette at the reception desk went well beyond the call of duty for guests. The bar and... more
