My wife I and I just returned from a wonderful week at RWI in the TCI. It was one of the best trips I have ever been on and we loved the personal charm and character of this medium sized "resort". keep in mind that all travelers have different experiences and different tolerance levels for things that aren't like they... My husband and I just returned from a 4 night stay at the Royal West Indies Resort in Turks and Caicos. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The room was clean and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. We had a botanical view, and that was just fine for us. Mango Reef was a decent restaurant - we enjoyed our meals... More

We stayed at the RWI for 3 nights in late April. We loved it and would definitely go back. I gave it 4 stars (instead of 5) for a few reasons. First, Our room smelled like smoke when we arrived and continued to smell this way for our entire stay. Second, I had requested a room far away from the... More

I read tons of reviews about Royal West Indies and after staying there for 7 nights I can't believe how paranoid and picky travelers can be (with all due respect). Last year we stayed at Beaches T&C and have also been to other islands. Our stay here was excellent. Did we have to wait a few extra minutes for our... More

Our family of 5 just returned from RWI. We stayed in a two bedroom ocean front room on the first floor. I would suggest a higher floor because the dunes block most of the ocean view. There is also a huge construction project going on next to RWI but we did not hear any noise at all from it. The... More

I've just come back from an 8 day stay at RWI with my 14 year old niece. It was mostly good, but some things could have been better. On arrival after a long day of travel, at checkin discovered that they had my reservation screwed up. We were supposed to be in an oceanview studio with 2 beds, with a... More

My best friend and I came to Provo to get away from our jobs and clear our minds...and we did just that. We had a great time! Our beach was by far the cleanest and biggest than the others along the same coast. We were able to get a chair on the beach and the staff was accomodating in helping... More

We visited T&C March 10-17, 2007 with another couple. The RWI staff (and all the people who lived on the island) were quite friendly. We, as Americans, have to learn to be a little more tolerant of other's customs. The pace is slower in Turks and Caicos, but isn't that why you are on vacation? And, yes, there were a... More

The RWI is a beautifully maintained resort. The grounds are gorgeous and the staff is friendly. The beach is absolutely spectacular and the accomodations are 4 star. We stayed in the only true oceanfront building (Bldg #1) for 6 nights in April and it was incredible for us. There is actually only one main pool and 3 smaller ones as... More

My husband and I stayed at the RWI from March 31-April 6, 2007. We loved the RWI. We stayed in an Ocean Front Studio on the third floor. Make sure if you have an Ocean Front Room to get on the 2nd or 3rd floor otherwise you will not be able to see the Ocean. Our room was beautiful and... More
