4 of us travelled to Turks and Caicos Feb 3-10, 2002, to stay on the island of North Caicos, at the Prospect of Whitby Resort.

We had an excellent vacation. Service and food were very good. Snorkeling and diving, the beaches were also excellent. My friends and I will definitely return. However, we will load up on insect repellant, as the sand flies for a few days were very definitely a problem if you did not use insect repellant. We were able to purchase repellant on site.

We loved the fact that this is a small resort, 27 rooms only, in a tropical setting - so enough sun and shade on site, and that there is not too much to do except totally relax, swim and snorkel/dive. Don't count on shopping on this holiday. We were on an all inclusive package and except for the diving experience, and renting bikes, we did not have to spend a penny. There are no local vendors on the beach.
