My fiance and I just returned from what was supposed to be a very pleasant stay in a beautiful hotel with lovely surroundings. Unfortunately it was totally the opposite! It was literally and hour and 45 minutes from the airport in the middle of no where. The only place to eat for miles was at the hotel and the staff... more

What a wonderful place...a truly Caribbean hotel! The naysayers must be people used to all-inclusives because you cannot ask more from this hotel. I loved the location in the best area of Tobago. I would not want to stay in the area around Crown Point, because it looks like any other island, the Northeast is what really sets Tobago apart!... more

As other reviewers have said, the beautiful location of this Inn (I hesitate to call it a hotel) should make it a perfect wedding/honeymoon/romantic resort, with snorkeling and diving as a bonus. While we were there several wedding organisers called in. None were met by management. All were very negative as they observed the broken or bat-dropping covered furniture, litter... more

A basic hotel clean and tidy some minor things did not work but nothing to spoil its brilliant location and the laid back approach to minor problems became amusing to me and my dive buddy. The diving with aquamarine dive located at the hotel was first class the dive sites very good and only 5 minutes by boat from the hotel.With... more

This little gem is true paradise on earth, the perfect combination of nature both above and underground. We stayed for three weeks at this simple hotel, but has all one needs: good beds, hot water and an amazing view over the bay. It is a remote location, but with good diving facilities and excellent managament at the diving school. Staff... more

We were a group of 9 people. We were given rooms next to each other, each had a patio verandha moments from the beach. We thought the location was gorgeous and quiet. It was a bit disappointing to find a lot of rubble not too far from our room, but after asking the maintenance man, this was covered up and... more

My wife and I stayed at Blue Waters for one week after finding an incredible, half-price deal on the web. As such, we were more than happy to overlook the relatively minor quirks in room decor and service and fully enjoy both the hotel and its truly spectacular surroundings. Furthermore, as far as a previous reviewer's comment of this being... more

May 30, 2009 | Trip type: Family

Our family with young children spent less than a week at Blue Waters Inn and we had a wonderful experience. Firstly the location is extraordinary, it's simply one of the best bay in Tobago, a piece of paradise with indeed blue and calm waters. It's very relaxing and you can enjoy an almost private beautiful beach. No need for a... more

Blue Waters would not suit typical "all in" package tour clients such as the negative people writing a review here. The location was truly stunning, the lapping of the waves being the only sound. Swimming was a few paces away from our room. Rain forest surrounded us with a wonderful walk to the next deserted bay on the doorstep and... more

My wife and I along with our son his wife and two teenage girls stayed here for a week, never again. The location is to die for but that is as far as it goes. We booked two bungalows for our visit as we wanted the freedom to prepare and have meals when we wanted, what a mistake. We arrived... more

In brief response to "Worst Hotel," General Management would like to reassure all potential guests of our policies, as follows: - Blue Waters Inn employs a Maintenance Team (of 9 people) for regular response to guest and facilities issues.
