Beautiful hotel, fabulous rooms, picture postcard perfect bay. It was a lovely place to stay for a relaxing holiday. Food could be better as the lunch menu gets a bit boring. A daily special on the board would help.

This is a lovely place to stay in an unspoilt quiet tranquil cove in Speyside on the north side of the island.
On arrival we were, for the first few days, impressed by the food; a really nice menu at breakfast and 3 choices at dinner.
After 2 days there was only self service at breakfast albeit with a choice...

My husband and I have recently returned from Blue Waters, having first visited the Asa Wright Nature Centre in Trinidad. This turned out to be the perfect combination for a birder, and non-birder. The Trinidad part was purely birding (and as it turned out, very nice) but the Blue Waters was intended to be a mix of birding and relaxing,...

My husband and I spent a week here for scuba diving, hiking, and snorkelling. The location is beautiful. The rooms are decorated in a contemporary style with plenty of storage and everything functioning properly. All rooms are right on the beach facing the ocean with the sound of waves crashing on shore and a private balcony. It may advertise two...

I spent 3 nights at BWI as part of a birding group. The location is great -- away from traffic, on a beautiful aquamarine bay. The room was very comfortable and I liked hearing the waves all night. The pool is gorgeous, with a view of the beach and bay. Every day we saw ruddy turnstones, a spotted sandpiper, and...

Blue Waters is a wonderful find for folks who like a restful environment, a beautiful setting, good food and drink, pleasant staff, and recreational opportunities like snorkeling, birding, scenic walks, and boat trips to Little Tobago with its impressive seabird colony (red-billed tropic birds, brown and red-footed boobies, etc). It is not a place for people who think of five-star...

Let me start with the words I like to see in reviews: clean, nice, comfortable, well-kept, real beach towels, plenty of hot water, on the beach, good food, great service, pleasant staff, private without being remote. Lots to do here: hiking, swimming, snorkeling, exploring the surrounding coves and forts or just lazing on the beach. The staff was friendly and...
