I just came across this website. It is with my graet amazement that i have read these negetive letters.Man O War Bay Cottages is a paradise on the edge of the rainforest. The cottages are now working towards Green globe Certification. If you check thier website they deliberately state NOT luxurious. I have just returned from my yearly one month... more

Great location, gorgeous grounds, in a lovely small fishing village. The cottages are in desperate need of renovation. The kitchen had a rusty, moldy refrigerator and an acceptable stove. It was fairly well stocked with odds and ends dinnerware and pots, but it never felt clean enough to want to cook there. The bathroom was definitely sub-standard. No hooks for... more

We booked the flat as we wanted 2 separate beds. We were shown into a dark, dank concrete box. The cooker was rusty and looked dangerous. Having read the reviews of the man o war cottages i wanted to stand up for the place i loved so much. We intended to stay for 3 nights. We left after one. Despite an excellent location, next to the bay, the appartments are run down and in need of urgent maintenance and modernisation. more

Filthy huts, broken mosquito nets, dreadful food and management which was at best indifferent and at worst hostile. We left early. A rip-off. more

We have visited here twice and will be returning. Need I say more? Beautiful location with a variety of flower, fruits and birds.
