I stayed at Mt. Irvine shortly after Carnival when my Travelocity reservation for another Tobago hotel was overbooked. Mt Irvine is like something out of the 70's and hasn't been touched since. The rooms are basic and clean. We had a few problems in the Sugar Mill restaurant with the breakfast buffet. Visited October 2003. Surly, unwelcoming staff who were not forthcoming in any information. Nice rooms and pool but a five minute walk downhill to a tiny, busy, dirty cove- not good value at all! Michele and Neil. more

Beautiful hotel next to the beach with and excellent golf course with rolling hills. Kind and friendly people, just do not go in with attitude. Remember you are a guest in their country :-). I even got married at the gazebo by the golf course. They would provide you with anything you need within reason. Lovely place to stay for... more

We spent a marvelous week at the Mount Irvin Bay hotel. Accomodation is nice, pool is clean, room service is good. But avoid the Sugar Mill restaurant : service is long, very long, and rude, and you really dont get much for what you pay. more
