My boyfriend spent an amazing night at the hotel we were greeted with a big smile from diana at the front desk and two glasses of sparkling wine we were amazed at the beauty and chique decor of the hotel. We were given a very educated tour of the hotel but a very nice gentleman. The room was emaculate with... More

Last month Instated at the Hilton. This trip I booked the Hyatt: what a contrast! The Hilton is very tired and shabby, with food "ok". The Hyatt is in a different class. My sea facing room was comfortable and modern. An initial problem with the blocked toilet was quickly repaired when I reported it. Food and drinks all good, including... More

Have visited again, twice in the past month, after a five year gap. So happy to see that the staff have maintained the level of service. Still not much around the hotel. I traveled by myself and felt safe inside the hotel (wouldn't recommend walking around alone outside the hotel grounds after dark though). The rooms are showing a bit... More

The Hyatt hotel is centrally located and of a good standard to be found in America or Europe. The bar and staff were polite and helpful. My only comments being critical are that at busy times check in is inefficient and dining out side is a first come first served basis, no preference for guests of the hotel. It is... More

This hotel is in the heart of the city and is ideal for business if that is your aim. I won't recommend for romantic getaway. I took the deluxe room. Room was good, bathroom awesome - a tiny balcony from the room but I really don't care to stare out to the city of buildings and containers on the waterfront.... More

I recently stayed here and mostly was great as per the previous reviews. What I found somewhat lacking but still not bad was the breakfast. The breakfast was nice but not great like I expected it to be for the standard and price of the hotel. The room was beautiful, the common areas were clean and service was excellent. I... More

This a first class hotel, my visits to Trinidad have been much more pleasant since its opening. Very friendly service, comfortable and nice rooms, most of them with an ocean view. Location is convenient for business, although traffic is heavy everywhere. Special mention to the pool area, and the lobby bar, overlooking the waterfront. Restaurant is ok for breakfast. For... You pay for every cent for the quality in and in some cases poor service as well. Nice rooms. Did the buffet dinner and breakfast both of which were ok but lacked variety given the exorbitant cost. Very comfortable beds. Did have a bad experience with reception. We were told we got a free upgrade with a balcony because of... More

Enjoyed every second at this hotel the staff was very welcoming and professional. The pool was amazing, to our lovely room with a spectacular ocean view not to mention comfortable bed and beautiful shower. Our dinner outside at the Sushi restaurant was glorious the music, the tiki torches and the ambiance was out of this world I will be back... More

Pros: After traveling all day for the first with my husband and 7 month old I was exhausted, hungry and tired. I was not prepared to be told at check in that there was no record of my prepaid Expedia reservation. David and Jamilah Sargeant took away my stress and contacted Expedia directly and turned my nightmare into a daydream.... More
