I stayed for about 14 hrs at the hotel, as I suppose to catch flight to New York Later. Services provided by the hotel are good. Attendee were helpful ,friendly and accommodating. As the hotel is located outside of the city, one can really enjoy at peace with nature. You have near by botanical garden, and some old churches u can... More

My boyfriend and I had stayed at the Coblentz Inn for 1 night. We arrived on a last minute occasion. I found this hotel online, saw pictures and said lets give them a try because it looks nice. I had called them found out how much it would be for a night stay and to see what they had available.... More

First we were quoted hotel rates for the rooms were for the room rates plus applicable taxes. However when we checked out there was an extra 10% added for service charge on which we never agreed and which is also not a tax. I have worked in the hospitality industry for many years with Marriott International and The Ritz Carlton... More

Dear Izatrinie The rate quoted to you included all taxes and service charge. The final bill did not have any increase to what was quoted. Our bill has a break down of the charges showing the basis room rate, hotel tax, service charge and VAT. If a guest does not wish to pay the service charge on a restaurant bill... More

We rented their Coblentz Cottage for a function and stayed 1 night at the Coblentz Inn. throughout the whole experience the staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. The room itself was lovely, so cute and artsy, wonderfully decorated. My only complaint was that there was no hot water at the time from the shower.

I can imagine when Coblentz Inn opened, it was a one of the kind boutique hotel with a great restaurant. Now, they need to concentrate on some critical areas before any goodwill they have earned over the years is eroded. Needed a room in Port of Spain last minute and all the major hotels I checked first were booked. Even... More

This boutique hotel failed to meet our expectations over 3 nights. The front desk staff were not helpful or welcoming. The back patio (cool lounge space) was frequently locked up. The restaurant was insanely overpriced ($20usd club sandwich). Pool next door was always locked up - we never actually saw it. The "free" mini bar in the room boasted 1... More

From the side hotel looks good but inside it looks even better. A unique design and old furniture is doing a good atmosphere like at home. Also the inside small but pretty nice garden is quite impressive. Rooms are small but have everything needful inside. Kitchen is okay. Internet has enough speed for work. The only negative impression was the... More

We stayed at Coblentz for a week in their "next door" apartment. It was terrible if im honest in terms of value for money and at no point was I lead to expect the condition it was in. That being said I didnt want to crucify the Inn for this even though I dont believe it was right. The inn... More

One of the primary reasons I chose this hotel is that they advertised they had a pool. Imagine my surprise to find out that the pool was not on the same property as the hotel. The pool was down the street, almost a block away, at another hotel called Coblentz Cottage. My accommodation was to include breakfast. Breakfast was served... More

I stayed at Coblentz inn on business for 3 weeks. Throughout my time there, the staff was attentive and friendly. Special thanks to the cleaning staff. The few times that I ate lunch at the hotel, the food was excellent. The breakfast is best if you are early. There is a nice terrace/patio upstairs that is cool in the evenings.... More
