As part of the CARICOM Security Contingent for the Fifth Summit of the Americas, 30 Police Officers from the country of Belize lodged at the Chancellor Hotel for seven weeks. It was a very good experience. The hospitality was excellent. We were treated as though we were at home. As a matter of fact, when we learnt about our departure... more

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights before returning to England after a week in the north of the island. The hotel looks good from the coutyard but the room (we had a standard double) was grim. It only had one window which looked out onto the courtyard and the curtain had to be kept drawn to preserve any... more

Rooms are very humble. Bed Spreads are filthy and there is no place to unpack your clothes. I was there on business and literally had to leave all my clothes in my suitcase as I had no place to put them. The bed consists of a mattress on a low frame. No springboard. Continental breakfast that is included in the... more

I stayed here for work for 7 nights and was not overly impressed. There is an attempt to upgrade but...still noisy at night, food is very limited, location is far from city center and too dangerous to walk. more

Our family of five stayed at this wonderfully designed and conveniently located hotel. The bar staff were friendly and had excellent conversational skills, we had easy access to the Carnival festivities and the swimming pool provided a nice 'cool down' after jumping up in the Carnival heat. We had a room overlooking the pool and the bedrooms were lovely and... more

We ( My Finance and myself) stayed her for 7 nights from 1/30 thru 2/6/08 in order to participate in Carnival -- We felt the location was great (located behind the Botancial Gardens) and to get to Queens Park we journeyed thru that breath of fresn air. It took 2.5 hours at customs so did not arrive until midnight. The... more

We were booked into this hotel for 5 nights while in Trinidad on a business trip but only stayed one night. We arrived at 10.15pm after a long flight from UK to find that the bar was shut, so was the restaurant and there was no room service! We were given a standard room despite paying for an executive one.... more

Our extended family, including teenagers and grandparents in their 80s, occupied two full suites with two bedrooms per suite. The ambience of this gem of a hotel was perfect for our vacation and the attention from the friendly staff was exceptional. As an example, when we asked for food beyond the dinner menu, a new menu was prepared which we... more

I have stayed at this hotel on three separate occassions, the last visit being in December 2006. Each visit has been a more than pleasant experience. The staff and the manager of the hotel were more than accommodating with all requirements and requests made. The bedrooms are spacious and cleaned regularly, I have never had any problems at this hotel... more
