This is the worst hilton I have ever stayed at. The food at the hilton is mediocre and disgusting, forget about getting your favorite vegetable like broccoli.. They were always out, the old wing of the hotel has rooms filled with damp mold and even obscure air cleaning devices meant for industrial warehouses are on in rooms when you enter.... More

Hotel had great location near the Savannah if you like to stroll or jog outside (during the daytime). It had a great entrance, Lobby, bar and restaurant. The service was efficient as long as you did not go outside the regular requests but not overly friendly. The rooms were very clean, although the older section was a little musty. The... More

This is really a upside down hotel, withthe lobby at the top and the rooms go down. The checking in process was long and staff was not very friendly and didn't care to attend to requests which was quite disappointing.Eventually the issue was sorted out.It was refreshing to see the Bellhop job still in operation at this hotel and it was needed... For the first time, hubby and I booked a one night stay at the Hilton in the Executive Room with a breakfast package. Upon checking in, we decided to visit the Executive Lounge, however our key card did not work (to enter). Thankfully, a hotel staff who was already inside the lounge realized we were trying to get in and... More

This is the second time I've stayed here. This time was for a 24 hour layover on my way home to the states from Suriname. I arrived really early on the day of my check in, it was only 8:30 AM. Even being so early the desk clerk happily checked me in for no extra charge... Thank you Vanity! My... More

Spent a weekend at this hotel in August 2014. Stay was relatively comfortable. Rooms are clean and well appointed. What you would generally expect from a brand like the Hilton. Got a bit of a sore throat though due to the position of the ac which seemed to be directed towards my bed. If you're planning on checking out an... More

This was my first time in Trinidad, and we choose this hotel, because de Hyatt, that is the one that was recommended to me, has not any availability. The hotel is in one of the small mountains surrounding Port Spain, and from his terrace has a magnificent view of the port and the city, and we had the luck to... More

On the first instance if you don't look to closely, this hotel looks great. However, it quickly went down hill..... My list could be endless about the negative experience I had here BUT luckily I'm the kind of person who laughs instead of cries - but I do like a moan so see below: Long story short: staff are rude... Generally the stay and service at the Trinidad HH were fulfilling and rewarding. Management should try to reduce the noise emanating from guest rooms at least on Level 10 where I stayed. The brand, however, is excellent along with the spectacular view from the Lobby at night.
