Stayed at La calypso my last 4 visits to Trinidad. Easy access to transport,close to bars,restaurants,mass camp pub,casino,grocery...descent area,just a great location. There are certain rooms that are pretty good,others not impressive at all...a lil to basic.....I suggest if possible upon arrival you ask to see all available rooms and make your choice. I stay here thus far whenever in town for Trinidad Carnival and have to say while some of the staff leave a lot of be desired in way of intelligence, the manager is the BEST (Merle) and a big reason I keep coming back because Trinidad is notorious for horrible customer/tourist service. adequate facility with TV , hotwater. good location. the owner is friendly. not too far from resturants. It is cheap when compared to other facilities! clean.

I had a single room, was very tiny with the bed taking up most of the space.
