The inn is more like a B & B but its great value for money, its clean with en suite bathrooms. Breakfast is good, we had a cooked breakfast consisting of omelette and sausages (frankfurter type) and there was plenty of it. Its really the location that is its attraction - 5 minute walk from the park and lots of... More

The place was quiet, located a short distance away from the Queens Park Savannah and our destination The Queens Park Oval (10 mins walk to and fro). The room was always clean and tidy when we returned and at night Mr Valentine was always helpful making us feel like family. Breakfast was great, the eggs and bacon are tasty. We... More

I've stayed at this Inn once before and was very pleased with it so when I was planning my daughter's birthday weekend I choose it again because of the convenience of its location. It is very close to the Queen's Park Savannah which is usually a hub of activities and events. The Zoo is right down the street and popular... More

The best part of staying at the Inn at 87 was the personalized service. Donna spent much time helping us find the best live music, food and sightseeing--which was especially difficult over the Easter holiday. Her knowledge of the jazz, restaurant and art scenes in Port of Spain was invaluable to making our stay so culturally relevant. Their services also... More

Plenty of room. Liked the multifunction dining room! Plenty of hot water. Everything in excellent condition including the AC. Very comfortable beds and linen. Breakfast was delish! Good security. Our party of 3 will definitely return.

First of all, its located in the middle of one of the worst neighbourhoods. The taxi driver had problems finding it. When we arrived, we saw a little house with sink roof and about 15 bags full of trash. Room had no curtain. Had this ginormous light in front of the window, and was afraid for anyone passing by could... More

The staff at this Inn is phenomenal from Donna, one of the owners, to Mary, who made me and my sister made-to-order breakfasts each morning (despite the regular breakfast fare served to everyone else), and a shout out to Casey, the night desk guy who called a taxi for me at 4 am when I was stranded at a party.... Stayed here 8 nights for the carnival. The location is great, not far from the Savannah or Ariapita Avenue. There is a delicious local breakfast which included treats such as baigan choka, buljol, sada roti, okra, pastelles and fried plantain served with a fresh tropical fruit salad and a choice of cereals, breads and muffins. The rooms are small, but... More

I will most certainly never be going again. I found the staff unfriendly and disinterested. Our bed kept creaking (not regular bed creak, I'm talking about the bed about to fall creak); I remember feeling scared to sit on the edge of bed, much less sleep on it. And the morning was no better. Our continental breakfast consisted of a... More

We do not know what would have made our sturdy custom built iron bed creak and seem ready to fall apart. Our follow up investigations revealed no unusual sounds nor signs of imminent collapse. We are very sorry that the local clients did not recognize the breakfast style to be self service as is the norm for a buffet setting.A... More

Just spent 4 nights at this lovely inn. Inside and out it is tastefully decorated. The rooms vary in size yet clean and a quick wifi connection (free). All the staff (from the owner to the maintenance man) are friendly and helpful. The location is close to some decent bars and restaurants and feels safe. It's a very short walk... More
