Almost like a hostile, but cleaner and nicer. Good location right by local cuisine as well as a Rituals Coffee Shop, internet cafe and an America Sports Bar. It's not a standard hotel with pools, landscaping and all that but it is a great place to stay if you are on a budget and looking to be a traveler and... More

I'm a student traveler on a budget and I decided to stay here to make my dollar stretch. This place is worse than a hostel. The front desk staff is rude and did not even try to make me feel welcome. I arrived in town early and needed an early check-in: they would not accommodate me (did not even try).... More

The quality of the hotel is below a Motel 6 in the U.S. and definitely not worth the money. Even though the manager was courteous and helpful the receptionists were standoffish and unwilling to help. Breakfast is only served between 8am and 10am with no early coffee available. No laundry services are available. One refrigerator is available for the entire... More

Pricewise and location this is a gem of a hotel/Guesthouse in Port of Spain, Trinidad. It's very close to the wonderful Queen's Savannah park that adorns the area, where you might spend some time relaxing the day away. I found the hotel staff to be truly wondeful, rooms are fine, maybe a trifle basic, but it's great value for money,... More

Stayed at this place for three nights. Single cheap hospital beds. Got bitten by fleas, my face was covered with it. Horrible bathroom. Breakfast staff rude. Knock on my door: "You have to pay the kitchen staff for breakfast you know" Three pieces of toast with 4 tiny pieces of butter and some jelly is their complementary continental. When I... More

I really was reluctant to stay at the Par May La's Inn since this was my first bed and breakfast. I will have to agree with others who said that there's nothing to do here but sleep. The rooms were old, but I felt they were clean upon arrival. They don't have free internet, but want to charge you $3... More

I stayed here for 4 nights. This a very modest hotel, but it was clean and nice. Staff was friendly. You will NOT find any luxuries here. The location is great if you're going to the US Embassy (as I did), it just one block away.

Stayed here on a business trip, but don't expect any modern facilities! The single bed collapsed on the first night - it might have been something to do with the weight of all the fleas in the bed! Some staff were friendly - others were damn rude! You do get breakfast in the price - if you call 4 pieces... More
