We arrived in the evening for one night. The grounds were well kept and the pool is a nice touch if you will be there for awhile. The rooms not bad...but we had to upgrade because the bed was rediculous for two. Quiet location. O.K. breakfast included. Decent restaurant down the block. This hotel is in a great location, near the action but still away from it so it is peaceful. The room we stayed in was nicely designed and most of all, clean. Just got back from a 3 day visit to Trinidad. Hotel Normandie is located in a quiet area. Workmen were on property but I heard no excessive noise. Room was small but clean. Staff that I came into contact with were friendly.Kim (receptionist) always had a smile for you. Would definitely stay there again. more
