Never again!! I stayed there for carnival and not only did they give the room I booked and paid for 4 months in advance to someone else, but their breakfast gave my family diarrhea, in a room where the toilet would barely flush! We decided to try the sunday night bbq that came with our package to get three order... More

The hotel is ok but quite dated. Rooms are ok. I had an invasion of small ants in my room during the stay but when I called for service all the maids had already gone for the day so I had to take care of it myself. Breakfast is quite simple and the lunch menu is very limited. The dinner... More

Not one of my best stay of home away from home. Attended a two day conference at this hotel and was only too happy to get back on the flight to home. My room 223 was small, had no refrigerator and had a terrible view of the building next door. On day 2 of my stay the water pressure went... More

This Hotel is quite dated. The room I was given was very old and in need of some attention. There is a pool though that is nice. The service tends to be quite slow, The restaurant staff are very pleasant. The food is only average. I have no real complaints regarding the Normandie - just that it is old. There... More

We stayed at this hotel for our wedding weekend. Our wedding ceremony and reception were both kept in their Village Room. We picked this spot because of convenience for our out of town guests, my dressing/ picture taking requirements and the affordable package price offered by the hotel. The following were the Cons and Pros: Cons: 1. There seemed to... More

I talked my husband into booking this hotel over Hilton (which had the same room rate) thinking it will be a nice boutique hotel. It is nothing better than a motel. The window was facing the hall way. It was a small room and not so clean. It had a hostel look but we paid $150 for one night. It... More

The pros: 1) The Hotel Normandie has an excellent location. It's very close to the Queen's Park Savannah & a short drive away from many great restaurants and entertainment spots. 2) Staff at the front desk were very pleasant and accommodating. 3) Our room was located in the newly renovated Samaan wing. It was clean with lots of natural light.... More

So I went to Trinidad on a school trip and we stayed at the Normandie Hotel. I am happy to say that I loved my time there. The hotel staff were kind and helpful in whatever ways we needed. Our tour guides was Island Experiences and they were fun to be with. Between Tano, Ricardo and Shernelle (I really hope... More

Enjoyed our stay there. Was peacefully and quiet. Would hear parrots in the morning passing by. They had wonderful b fast in the mornings. Everything was fresh. Only thing I didn't like was this maid she talks alot and don't keep nothing to herself. We had wedding cake and we share with the staff. It was a nice stay planning... More

This hotel is in a very good location in Port-of-Spain trinidad. In the mist of everything but designed in such a way that you can forget that once you've entered their gate. The rooms are a bit dated but they seem to have started to renovate. We were located in the wing with the older rooms. The customer service here... More
