Had a very enjoyable time at this guest house which is a gem and very reasonable priced compared to the other places in the city. Set a little way from the city centre it is peaceful and relaxed, with a lovely pool and breakfast cooked to order (included in the price). Taxi's are reasonably priced so transport is not a... We found this quite accidentally on our last night in Trinidad when our original accommodations fell through. We stayed poolside (GREAT pool area to chill & relax!) and our room was super clean. It was very reasonably priced. The staff were so nice & accommodating. We grabbed some dinner from the on-site restaurant to take back to the room and... More

My husband, son and myself stayed here in August 2014 for 3 nights. We were made to feel very welcome. The two rooms we had were very clean and adequately equipped for our stay. Breakfast was a nice surprise with lots of choice and definitely value for money. The dining area was welcoming and airy. The pool was inviting, although... More

I searched a lot of the guesthouse in the area up cascades hill: @ Coblentz inn the staff were very unwelcoming and some other one i found was surrounded by guard dogs and looked very dingy. Alicia house then was a breathe of fresh air , though our room (3) wasn't the best as it had no natural light, the... More

Talk about a pleasant and true at home feel! Simple, clean and convent location. The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help. The rooms were clean & well kept. Breakfast is cooked to order and was surprisingly included in my price. The reason for my visit to Trinidad was to party & DJ for Trinidad Carnival. My stay... More

Went for Carnival for the first time by myself. Talked to Keisha prior to my arrival; when I arrived felt as if we were old friends. Room was great and clean for the price, loved the staff, feels like home. The energy of the staff and the music playing reminded you that you were in Trinidad the island of SOCA... More

The weekend started off badly as we were placed in the wrong rooms, we were eventually relocated to another room but we were required to pay the difference, the environment was noisy, staff were not professional, mediocre. Food was palatable but not of the best standard.

This place should not be in operation. The staff is hostile, they all look like fugitives. The place does not feel safe. People spend the entire night outside your basement room smoking funny smelling things. They laughed, drank and smoke until morning. I got no sleep after staying the night from a church conference. Mu husband had to go back... More
