I stayed at the Carlton Savannah to prepare for my wedding day. The hotel is nicely priced for what is offered and the staff are very friendly! (good service i must say). Upon checking in, my best friend and I wanted rooms next to each other, they made no issue. We also booked an additional room for my bridal party... More

Im sure one day this hotel was a great place to stay, and have no doubt it could be again one day. However, right now, it is quite run down and in desperate need of some TLC. By the end of the stay, we had a long list of complaints that all we could do was laugh about. However, the... More

A busy yet charming hotel capable of hosting world leaders and their entourages alongside ordinary folk like us. The attentive staff and management were responsive to our every need and request. Despite the upbeat nature of the place, all the staff on duty were friendly, chatty and genuinely engaging. After a great night of rest breakfast was wonderful (Buljol and... More

My husband and I stayed there for 1 night for a little R&R. It was a nice quiet hotel, the room smell a bit musty upon first entering, the pool was ok need to be cleaned properly. Its nice if you want no one to bother you. We stayed during the week the roof top restaurant was not open. The... More

Great hotel. Comfy bed. Only complaint was that the temperature control on the Air Conditioner was either ON of OFF - despite the actual temperature setting it just kept on cooling until the room was unbearably cold. Finally, I just turned it off at night and let the room gradually warm while sleeping. Still comfortable by morning.

I was supposed to stay a full week but checked out early. Called for wake up call three days at night and had to come down to front desk because clerk was blasting music on computer. Came in one night security guard in back hallway on phone and not paying attention at all. Food was not good at all had... More

Three wonderful days in the very nice warm weather , with very nice friends from Québec city. We were from walking distances from the Botanical garden of that city and we also visited the zoo which enjoyed very much. Spend the whole afternoon walking and we didn't suffer from the heat.

I went for a wedding in Trinidad this hotel was mentioned to me by the someone. The halls were so musty to the point of "what is that smell". The room was not bad with the musty smell though. I could see there was not much work done in the cleaning of the bathroom. The best thing for me at... More

I stayed at the Carlton Savannah on two occasions for 2014 so far. I can safely say that on both occasions it was definitely a worthwhile experience. The first occasion was for New Years which I rented one room. The staff was more than accommodating and so very helpful! The second time I stayed was for my birthday in March... More

For the same money, in other places you get 5 stars. Here you get 1. I was first given a room on the 10th floor (“deluxe" rooms). Air conditioning was not working. Second room given was better. Still, traces of wear and tear are evident all over the hotel (stained rug, scratched furniture, stained headboard, unhinged closet doors, etc). Towels... More
