The accomodations and food were good, but the birding around the lodge and the briding trips were super. The guides (both those employed by the lodge and those that were booked through Caligo Tours) were excellent. My wife and I stayed at Asa Wright for 5 days. The staff was exceptional, and the rooms were clean. Waking up to the sound of birds, with a hot cup of coffee was outstanding! The food was different every meal, and was very good. The quality, variety, and quantity was fantastic. more
