There isant a great deal of chioce in Claxton Bay, but if you have to stay in the Bay, this is the place. I stayed here after a long flight from london for the night. Staff were very friendly and relaxed, while going out of their way to accommodate. Moved on form here after the night as the rest of... more

My family stayed here for three nights, as we were in Trinidad for a wedding. Prior to this hotel we stayed in two others, one horrible, the other amazing. This hotel was also in the excellent range. We found the hotel staff to be absolutely fantastic! They were beyond kind and helpful, even remembered my mom from two months ago... more

I stayed for seven days at the Trade winds whilst on business at Port Lisas. I have read the other reviews, and I think it all depends on what you expect of the area. The room I had was clean. The aircon worked, as did the fridge and TV. I am not pretending it was luxury, but it was far... more

First off if your going to stay here, pick the Presidential suite..The next one down "the executive suite" was not very nice at all..We upgraded immedialtly when we looked at the executive suite..The presidential suite was probably nice back when the hotel was new but lets just say it needed some work, a good cleaning, and it was alot smaller... more

The rooms were large and clean but it was actually underground had no windows. The a-c was very loud and if you stay on the weekends you can hear the band playing. The food was good i really liked the pork ribs. I was over charged about 140$ US and was a little hassle to get the money back. Free... more

I stayed at Tradewinds in February 2005. It was a great experience. The staff was a little slow checking us in an getting the right rooms set up, but overall was a great time. Otherwise the staff was very curtious and let us have our privacy. Restaurant on premises was very nice, a little pricey but very yummy. Will go... more

The hotel was nice and the people were very friendly. At the bar drinks and in the resturant the food was seriously overpriced 1 dozen shrimp and dip was 220.00 tt dolars which averages out to about 37us, a small cup of soda 9.oo tt but the view, rooms, the pool everything was beautiful. more

I was overcharged for the minibar by a factor of 3 at times, the staff was very discourteous. Nobody talked to me. The beds were so stiff that I couldn't sleep. The band was located just outside my picture window and consequently I could not sleep when they were playing. I developed lower back pain from sleep deprivation and hard... more
