We booked this hotel because it was close to the airport, we were getting in late and flying to Tobago early so it only made sense to stay here. There are times when sense fails you. This was the most horrific hotel experience. Our room was filthy. The shower and sink stained. The linoleum was destroyed by water damage. I... more

Do not book this hotel, it’s a slum. To keep this review concise, here are some reasons *Over priced food and beverages *hotel is a rotted wooden house *rooms smelled like old molded rags *the bed linen was soiled stained *the bathroom had used soap and the tiles were mildewed *the hotel is not cable ready, has no TV remote... more

I booked this hotel going off of Lonely Planet's description and a look at the website, expecting a simple but decent hotel to spend the night in order to catch a 6:55am flight. Instead we found a slum. Yes, I would describe the owners as slumlords. The smell of mildewy rot was completely overpowering. The walls and carpets were damp... more

My husband and I had the horrible displeasure of staying in this dump for one night after leaving Tobago and before departing from Trinidad. We have travelled all over the world and stayed in all manner of accomodations in all kinds of situations and never have we been so repulsed. It is unbelievable that anyone could ever find this place... more

Absolute dump! Old bedding on bed..found dead spider on pillow. The whole room smelt damp & the shower was unusable as it was filthy! I slept in my clothes as the bedding was not clean. I left after one night but had paid for seven. I was only refunded a small fraction of my credit card payment, so beware if... more

Woke up at night, cockroaches crawling on floor of shower cabinet. couldn't sleep for rest of night and have three painful bites in my neck which I think must be from bugs not mosquitoes... more

I stayed at the Belair Airpor Hotel in March with my son for one night in order to take an early morning flight to Tobago the next morning. First, they charged my credit card one month prior to arriving- they said this is how they do it; then when we arrived, it was sooo old and depressing, I was sooo... more

This hotel is a big dump. I took the shuttle from the airport, which was a van in terrible condition. The door could only be opened from the outside. I was taken to a room, where the AC was not working properly. I complained and they said that the AC was just repaired and needed a bit of time to... more

The Bel Air Hotel is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was disgusting, and was adjacent to a house with barking dogs not to mention the proximity to the airport. When the planes fly over the rooms literally shook. The room was dingy with frayed electrical cords which almost shocked me when I had... more
