The Lonely Planet mentions that Mt Plaisir is arguably the nicest place to stay on Trinidad. The road towards Grand Riviere is definitely lovely, so is Grand Riviere. Secluded and lovely. Our children enjoyed the beach right in front of the hotel every day of our 5-day stay. The host and staff are very friendly and try hard to meet your needs.
