If you are going to Carriacou, this is THE place to stay! Lovely, clean cottages on a beautifully maintained compound. Totally private - steps from the beach. Owner, Dave Goldhill, does his utmost to ensure your stay is all you want it to be. Want to go on a boat trip? Mostly Harmless is available to explore the islands and... More

My wife and I stayed at bayaleau point cottages for 5 nights in the middle of February. We had a great time, it's a beautiful place with Q4 delightful little cottages, the owner is friendly and helpful, there are also great boat trips on offer. We would like to go back again someday soon!

We (some sailing friends) stayed here in April 2004. Why the delay in posting? I was surfing the net and was so relieved to see Bayaleau Point Cottages is still operating. Then I read one incredibly negative review and felt my hackles go up! I echo another reviewer. I can not recommend this "resort" and its owners highly enough but... More

Visited some years ago. La Sagesse (Grenada) owner Mike told us about the Bayaleau Point Cottages... Go check it out! 4 quaint and colourfull cottages on the panoramic eastern most point of Windward Bay. Take a (snorkeling-)trip on the Mostly Harmless! You'll love it!

My wife and I have now stayed at Bayaleau Point Cottages on three separate occasions and every time that we visit we love it more and more. It's beautiful, relaxed, tranquil, peaceful and serene vibe are truly unique and the owners and staff are some of the nicest people that we have ever met. ALSO... Every time that we have... More

This an exceptional tour. During our time on the Boat Mostly Harmless (9.30 to 4.30), we snorkelled with fish on the reefs, swam with sea turtles, had a magnificent Lobster lunch on the beach, had an hour on the best beach I have seen for swimming, and rounded off with a rum punch on a bar sitting along on it's... If you are looking for a laid back caribbean experience and prefer authentic surroundings and hosts - you should pay Dave Goldhill a visit at Windward, Carriacou! We spend 8 nights in the blue cottage, incl. the baby blue, and had the best holiday experience. We are a Danish family with two adults and three children, and we enjoyed a... More

... to see the photos of Dave's Bayaleau Cottages. We arrived unbooked a month or so ago, Dave was great and we stayed in all four quirky wonderful cottages as he moved us around the saner prebooked. I've read through what others have eloquently written; they're right. My wife and I both hugely enjoyed our 15/16 day stay.

Robinson “Calypso” ! Just imagine that your ship washed up on a conch shelled natural beach. You find your way to a path that leads to a forest of fruit trees and colorful cottages. Your Robinson "Calypso" hos,t Dave, washed up on that very same beach years ago. Dave befriended several bushmen and built every amazing thing that lays before... More

This was a return trip for us and the magic of this perfect little hideaway was still as potent. It's maybe not for fans of AC, wall-to-wall marble and the totally sanitised Caribbean experience, but it is comfortable, simple, sustainable and totally beautiful. The wooden cottages are carefully designed to capture the cooling breezes and are charmingly furnished. It feels... More
