My friends and I just returned from the Village Apartments. We loved the location, close to everything. The hosts George and Val were great. As well as the staff especially Martha. Our apartments #2 and #4, while lacked the spectacular views were great. One was an studio and the other was one bedroom. I would highly recommend the Village apartment. more

The Village Apartments continue to be well-furnished and maintained. Val and George Whitney, the owners/operators, are the perfect hosts. We recently stayed at Village Apartments for ten nights in March 2005. We stayed in Apt 5, which had a nice view of Admiralty Bay - somewhat obstructed by trees, but enough to see the water, sailboats and beautiful sunsets. We stayed at the Village apartments in Feb this year (2004) and had a wonderful time. The apartments were only 2 minutes from the main area. They were very comfortable and clean. Stayed at the Village Apartments last year during the month of April. Very friendly and extemely helpful owners. The surroundings are private, clean and peaceful. Very cozy and intimate self contained apartments, excellent view of Admiralty Bay & walking distance to all the major restaurants/hotels (e.g. Frangipangi Hotel etc.) and downtown Bequia. more
