A large group of us and our friends recently chartered a couple of boats from Barefoot, and we needed a place to stay for a couple nights before we sailed. We stayed at the Tranquillity Apartments for 3 nights en route to Bequia. It has an excellent beachfront location on Indian Bay Beach. I enjoyed each and every time I stayed at the hotel. Everyone on staff will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable and make it a home away from home. Lucelle is a STAR, and she truly cares about your stay in not only the apartments but also on the Island. I hope to return soon!!!!! more

We loved the view. The lady that runs the place is very helpful and nice. We stayed for two nights prior to chartering a boat. We enjoyed ourselves. My wife and another person caught bed bugs. It was pretty bad and we had to take them to the clinic in Bequa for treatment. We did not hot water at all... more
We're sorry you had a bad experience at Tranquillity and apologize for any discomfort or inconvenience you experienced. All our mattresses are encased in plastic and our linens are properly sanitized, so it is highly unlikely your bites were caused by bedbugs. Sand fleas brought indoors on beach towels or clothing can mimic the bites of bed bugs. Mosquitos can...
My wife had visited before and she had "warned" me before we got there. I will admit, when I first got there I was apprehensive because of the look of it. Tranquilty is right next to the ocean. Beautiful view however the actually building is a little old. The rooms are well maintained. The reason I stayed here was because of the price and Ms. Lucelle made all the other issues I had with accomodation seem unimportant.
