I stayed on YI for 5 nights early July and had the most relaxing restful experience. The whole place is like a botanical garden full of beautiful flora plants and trees. On one side the Atlantic buffets the island with its amazing energy and there are plenty of sail boats to watch heading in and out of St Vincent. On... More

So on the last day of our holiday in St Vincent and the grenadines, my wife and I decided to spent have lunch and dinner at young island resort. Wow. What a negative experience. Throughout our interaction with the bar man, he acted like we were bothering him and not worthy of his time. At one point he took my... More

My stay at the resort was relaxing. There are lots of private homes nestled in the hills. While there is a lack of television and limited internet in the rooms, there is a beautiful beach where you can swim and sunbathe. There is a lot of beautiful flora. It is a nature lover's paradise

We went here in Oct 2013, deciding to try somewhere different this seemed to tick all the boxes! Small island with only a couple of handful of rooms. The trip didn't start well after we got stuck in Barbados due to a storm, however we managed to get the last flight out and our connection to St Vincent was made!... More

We read many reviews before travelling to Young Island. We can agree with what the majority of them state; that this is truly a special place. The location is fabulous, the seas are an aquamarine blue, the accommodation is superb and the staff are simply wonderful. The accommodation is in cottages and we were very kindly upgraded to cottage 10... More

A unique Island and well worth the nine hour flight ( Virgin makes it almost painless ).Never been to the Caribbean before so open to all impressions. A place to relax totally..I swam, snorkelled, sketched the beautiful flowers of the Island, read..dozed in my own hammock...bliss... Wonderful food tho' the lunch menu had a 'samey' feel. Pity not more fish... More

Came to do lunch. Started at the bar. Bartender said he would arrange table. Never did and the bar had one other customer; perhaps he was too busy. Then went to get table. The attendants said they had to check with the chef for a BUFFET?! Waited while having a drink 4 times longer than they told me they would... More

Absolutely love this place. Rooms were wonderful and staff is outstanding. Food is delicious - each meal prepared deliciously and more than adequate portions. We did upgrade to include the bar - which was well worth it for us. Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. We would return in a heartbeat! (although it is a bit challenging to... More

We stayed at this resort during February 2015. While the trip to get there was long and tiring, we were welcomed at 11:00PM with drinks and a dinner waiting for us in our private beachfront bungalow. This place is a quiet, "get away from everyone" kind of place with only 22 rooms in beachfront and hillside accommodations. Your stay can... More

Our little island has a pool and a tennis court. I just finished a week of very good scuba, great cuisine, beautiful views, and tomorrow I will climb to the top of Rock Fort, a pinnacle near the island. Across a 200 yd strait lies the well populated town of Anson Ware, accessed by ferry (15 hp Yamaha), and further... More
