Golden Rock Inn sits about 1,000 feet up on Mount Nevis with peekaboo views of the Atlantic Ocean through the jungle that is the vision of Helen Marsden (one of the owners) as executed by Ramsey Jungles. Yes, there really is a landscape architect named Ramsey Jungles. This is not your fancy Caribbean Island resort but rather a boutique inn... More

My wife and I moved to Golden Rock after an unsatisfactory experience elsewhere. Golden Rock Inn is built on and among the ruins of a sugar plantations, very tastefully using some existing structure. The accommodations are a delightful "villa" and ours looks out to the sea and islands to the south east. The staff, pool, breakfasts, and dinner were wonderful.... More

We stopped here for lunch while driving around Nevis. A lovely plantation Inn with beautiful grounds, stunning views, cool breeze, excellent service and superb food. Take a drive from here down to the horse racing course, experience wild Nevis, with wild donkeys and goats galore.

My husband and I live here on Nevis and we have dined here at Golden Rock for frequent, lovely lunches and dinners. Tonight a friend of ours treated us to dinner at Golden Rock and our experience was quite horrible. We arrived at the bar and were not greeted or welcomed in any way by the owner or the bartender.... Good wine list and good quality food. Lovely outside eating area and agreeable service. There is a covered downstairs restaurant area which is good if you want to be out of the sunlight and heat, or an upstairs restaurant area if you want to be in the sun.

Came here for lunch on the advice of friends. Excellent setting, excellent lunch. Worth renting a car to get here, or take a taxi. Amazing plantation ruins. Get the lobster sandwich, or the jerk pork sandwich. Conch chowder is also the best I have had (not tough like it can be if over cooked).

I booked this hotel due to a glowing Conde Nast Traveller article. It was a great choice. We loved it from the moment we arrived. The grounds are divine, acres of stunning tropical garden with just a handful of low rise rooms scattered throughout. The hotel is owned by New York based artists & has an arty, boho feel with... Our guide ordered lobster sandwiches and drinks while taking a guided tour of the island. This turned out to be an excellent choice. Very relaxing setting with very good quality food and service. It is set in a stunning location.

We went for lunch - lobster rolls. great service, spectacular property and views, great food. Good value for lunch. Don't miss this! Also went hiking and that was fun. Need 4 hours to get to the Source!

Set in a stunning location and steeped in history Golden Rock is not to be missed if you are visiting Nevis. Staff were excellent and the lunch simple but delicious. A walk through the plantation added to the experience.
