i wanted to treat my girlfriend for a romantic, peaceful break but Kevin, the owner just wouldn't leave us alone. Yes the place is beautiful and the staff were more than adequate but the place became populated by Kevin's presence. This made us feel uncomfortable and the weekend became a less relaxing experience. We did not stay overnight at Rawlins but spent several hours there including an incredible lunch buffet. Kevin is the perfect host, the grounds and location of the plantation are excellent. We will likely stay there on our next visit. The lunch we had was one of the highlights of the trip. If on St. Kitts you must visit Rawlins.
