This place cannot be faulted. It is situated in a very beautiful part of Cymru right on the beach. Although the vibe is relaxed and easy-going the management run a tight ship in terms of the standard of both accommodation and food both of which are of an extremely high standard. Gwesty Ty Newydd is to be highly recommended.

The family room consisted of a double room, with a separate bedroom with bunk beds. Both rooms had TVs. Furnished to a very high standard, it felt comfortable and luxurious, with plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water. The evening meal and cooked breakfast were very good. The bar / restaurant were busy and lively, but at the same... More

I was quite looking forward to staying here while on a walking tour of the Llyen Peninsula in Wales as the Hotel is right on the beach. However on arrival, with no explanation, we were simply led down the road into the village and put into a small tatty room in an annex. That evening we looked into the dining... More

Walking welsh coast path and one night here . Very comfortable recently modernised room and great welcome. Good dinner with fresh lobster . Very good breakfast though should get rid of microwaved scrambled egg. Would happily return

We've stayed here a few times so know what to expect - clean, cosy rooms, a friendly welcome and delicious food. It's not cheap, but well worth paying that bit extra for a stunning location right on the beach with everything you need for a walking holiday and somewhere warm an cosy to come back to. There's even a drying... More

This is a very well run, clean and beautifully situated hotel. The views of the bay from our window were stunning. The food was really good and with Gluten free meals on the menu and gluten free puddings made it a very good place for us to stay. I felt really well catered for. All in all we will be... More

This hotel has prime views of Aberdaron bay. (Make sure you book a room with a sea view!!) Rooms are modern and well equipped. Lovely big bathroom. Mega large bed and tea/coffee facilities. Highly recommend a stay here. Parking is in a nearby carpark which is National Trust owned and run.

My partner and I visited the Ty Newedd restaurant for a special dinner with the family celebrating his mum's 70th birthday. To begin with we wandered out to the beautiful balcony and had a seat at a small table as it was a bit busy. There were 6 of us around a table suited for two and it was a... More
