We take a summer and a winter vacation every year with the family...3 kids under 10 in tow. My wife and I look for locations with "on property" activities for the kids but need a little R&R for ourselves. Any time we try to find this combination with a new destination it's a gamble...but we definitely came up a winner... More

The Ritz Carlton, as one would expect, is expensive. We had a corporate discount so it didnt make as huge of a dent in our wallets as others may have experienced. But, I guess, you know what your paying before you go there, so that shouldnt be a reason to ding the RC. As soon as we arrived, they greeted... More

We came in a bit early for a business meeting that is to be held at the RitzCarlton. Two main things that you should know: 1. Most rooms are not on the beach. Many in our group were disappointed to learn that they were a good walk from the beach, and the the price to move over was $400 per... More

This is a big hotel that caters to business groups and conventions. The rooms and lobby look like any other Ritz Carlton, with traditional decor. There is virtually no hint that you are in the Caribbean. It sits on a gorgeous stretch of beach, but there are so many beach chairs and people, that you can't escape other people's conversations... The sea view rooms offered a great view and the rooms were very nice and clean. It seemed that the staff could have been more pleasant, but they were helpful. The Ritz did offer many options for things to do for the day as they could set you up with just about whatever you needed. Really nice location as you... More

I actually stayed with family who are part of Exclusive Resorts, and had a villa on the golf course ofthe Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman, so my review will not talk about the rooms at the RC, but the property itself. Its great for families and people who want to just chill on white sand beaches, be pampered, and maybe sit... More

Upon arrival we were welcomed with fruit punch drinks at the check-in desk. Our resort view king room actually had a partial view of the ocean and was spacious and well-appointed. Bathrobes, toothpaste, nail files, etc. are all stocked in the bathroom so travelers do not need to worry if they have left something at home. The breakfast in 7... More

A hot dog, burger, and two local Caybrews at the pool will set you back $70 US. So, budget travelers beware. If you want a tropical cocktail its gonna cost you $20+ US. The rooms are pretty average and lack modern amenities no IPOD docks or digital clocks etc. If you like the feel of a trendy spot this is... More

We just returned from a 10 night stay at the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman with our 6 month old and our friends with their 3 year old. It was absolutely fabulous. After being horribly disappointed last year with the Ritz St. Thomas we decided to play it safe and go back to the Ritz Grand Cayman where we had a... More

I just returned from the Ritz Carlton for a business trip. When I arrived in Grand Cayman, my luggage didn't. I had an important presentation the next morning and only had a few incidentals in my carryon with my presentation. The concierge, Sabine, and the Bell Captain Ollie jumped in to save the day. I have stayed at numerous five... More
